STARS APART

although our lands are stars apart
our spirits we unite
togeth...er we can overcome
with our power and our might

we have walked the same road
a path wet with tears
stained with our blood
we hold the same fears

they took from us our lands
our right to dance and sing
they took from us our right to life
yet we live again

through all our sadness
our hearts remained warm
our spirit unbroken
we weathered the whitemans storm

but we cannot delay
we must save our land
to protect mother earth
this is our last stand

our future is bright
but we must stay firm
raise our spirits to the sky
and to our lands we will return.
