OLDER WOMAN DEEPER BEAUTY: actress

actress KATHY BATES
"I am sorry, Mother. Sometimes being a bitch is the only thing a woman has to hold onto..." from the movie Delores Claiborne in 1995.

"If you wanna know what kind of life a person had, just look at their hands."

"Now, you listen to me, Mr. Grand High Poobah of Upper Buttcrack. I'm just about half-past give a shit with your fun and games!"

" Actress Kathy Bates' character, Delores Claiborne, worked for a woman, a rich woman who underpaid  her, and excepted more from Delores than she paid her the length of Delores' employment, their friendship, and her boss, Vera Donovan's life. Taken in context there was a piece of advise Vera gave Delores, if taken in context with the story is powerful, persuasive and fundamentally profound and earth shaking for Kathy Bate's character, Delores. I won't set up the scene. You need to see the movie to grasp the emotions, and the times she lived in to understand why Delores' boss, Vera, said to her, "Sometimes you have to be a high-riding bitch to survive. Sometimes being a bitch is all a woman has to hold onto."

Director & actress Kathy Bates is one of the most profound actress on film I've ever seen.
