The AMERICANS
The displays of imbalance are the unique signature of the
white man who came to these shores. The land did not change his spirit. Our
ancestors meant little to nothing to him. It was only the progress forward
under God that mattered. The soul of the People, and the souls of living
creatures were mysteriously written out of his consciousness. It was amazing
the mind, and spirit that created the Doctrine of Discovery! No one had lived
outside of natural order like this man! That mind had the spirit that could not
see how imbalance tips Life out of sorts into chaos, and fears that are not natural
to the tune of human development.
Few people share the joy white men with guns take in the
taking of lives. It plays out all over the world as a religion with no temple
only a set of circumstances to create conflict, and an ideology to justify the
conflicts.
The white man is a restless being, and his restlessness
kills him from within and us without thought to the scheme and wisdom of things
created by the Creator for our well-being. The white man in our midst is very
much like Kanati, the Hunter, in the Cherokee story about Corn Mother.
Still in his infancy, his immaturity like Kanati in the beginning of his story,
the white man has not met his 'Corn Mother' because his women have historically
been chattel.
