An illustrated glossary showing a cross section of Anishinaabe Izhinamowin: the traditional worldview of the Ojibwe Anishinaabeg, who for the past 1000 years inhabit the North American Great Lakes area.

Animikii Binesi is one of the aadizookanag, his power prevented me to depict him though. You popped up even before I could tag the turtle by the way.  He is not depicted in the drawing but his spirit lives in the stories. The marks on the birch trees are his talon marks.
