Sharing Telling

I SHARE because I CARE:

1). HELL is truth seen too late

2). GIFTS are what a man has, but graces are what a man is. ...

3). PERSEVERANCE is failing nineteen times and succeeding the twentieth.

4). A MAN who hoards up riches and enjoys them not.....is like an ass that carries gold and eats thistles.

5). WORKING WITH GOD If I can put one touch of rosy sunset into the Life of any Man or Woman, I shall feel that I have worked with God.

6). TRAILS are medicines which our gracious and wise physician prescribes, because we need them; and he proportions the frequency and weight of them to what the case requires. Let us TRUST his skill and thank him for his prescription.

A couple days after Abena shared this a friend of hers, Randi Payton said "The new pyschos in our mist see hell before it's too late and don't see it after it's too late. We r in a A new reality.

Notes from FitMinds: The New Psychopaths see their wrong before they commit it against you. Then they don't see it after they commit it against you. Then they wonder what is wrong with you
."

I don't know what to make of his thinking, but then reviewing my time with sick, dangerous people there is an unreasonable breakup of thought patterns that blur lines within their perceptions. I have seen it in killers, women after abortions, men who have wanted to kill their own, and white policemen sick with sexual attachments to brutalizing other men. There is a lot to what Randi Payton said. A lot of examples running freely in towns and cities with no prohibitions. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories [Jan. 22, 2017]

Man in thought.
"Beloved, let me never imagine I am something. Let me never forget I am nothing.
What grace you have showered upon my being, to have filled this space with You alone."

WEALTH CREATION

“I am absolutely assured that the entire universe is friendly to me - this all- powerful truth I insist on believing with a wholehearted trust in spite of all appearances to the contrary.”
– Emilio Williams

"Give, and it shall be given to you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye give to others, it shall be measured to you again " - Luke 6:38

WHITE ENTITLEMENT BLACK ACCEPTANCE

I will quote a paragraph from one of my favorite books on racism titled, Two Nations, Black and White, Separate, Hostile and Unequal by Andrew Hacker:

actress, Amanda Peet posing leisurely on sofa

"At one time or another, all of us have refused to admit certain truths about ourselves. By engaging in what Psychology 101 calls "denial," we seek to convince others - and ourselves - of our innocence of blame
"This said, it will be proposed here that all white Americans, regardless of their political persuasion, are well aware of how black people have suffered due to inequities imposed upon them by white America. As has been emphasized, whites differ in how they handle that knowledge. Yet white people who disavow responsibility deny an everyday reality: that to be black is to be consigned to the margins of American life. It is because of this that no white American, including those who insist that opportunities exist for persons of every race, would change places with even the most successful black American. All white Americans realize that their skin comprises an inestimable asset. It opens doors and facilitates freedom of movement. It serves as a shield from insult and harassment. Indeed, having been born white can be taken as a sign: your preferment is both ordained and deserved. Its value persists not because a white appearance automatically brings success and status, since there are no such guarantees. What it does ensure is that you will net be regarded as black, a security which is worth so much that no one who has it has ever given it away.

"This helps explain why white conservatives so vehemently oppose programs like affirmative action. They simply do not want to admit to themselves that the value imputed to being white has injured people who are black (Two Nations, p.60)."

“Families gather for the great feast of Karamu on December 31. Karamu may be held at a home, community center, or church. Celebrants enjoy traditional African dishes as well as those featuring ingredients Africans brought to the United States, such as sesame seeds (benne), peanuts (groundnuts), sweet potatoes, collard greens, and spicy sauces.  Especially at Karamu, Kwanzaa is celebrated with red, black, and green. Green is for the fertile land of Africa; black is for the color of the people; and red is the for the blood that is shed in the struggle for freedom.” – Abena Disroe, December 31, 2009

“FOCUS your THOUGHTS on a deep sense of gratitude for LIFE, watch the stars as they twinkle and move across the heavens. Allow yourself to feel your connection to the Universe. If you can, walk along the Sea Coast. Enjoy the smell of the salt air, feel the sand on your feet, and watch for the gifts the water brings you.

2010 FEEL the FORCE, have FAITH, TRUST your inner POWER as you MOVE Forward within the LIGHT of GOODNESS, Stirring your SOUL to take FLIGHT FREELY. HAPPY NEW Year
ONE LOVE” - Abena Disroe, poetess
