... has its own definition.

Lakshmi Chandrika

Life is a Resolution that
Accompanies youth, and a diligence
That follows maturity, and a
Wisdom that pursues senility. . .

HEAL THE SOUL HEAL THE WOUNDS

My Vintage Look

Marilyn Monroe & Arthur Miller walking hand-in-hand !!!!

Marilyn Monroe, free as a bird. It seems to be such a 'girly' thing for her to have said "Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world." Being frivolous, carefree and rejoicing seem to be the claim and right of women. In a man it is different. It isn't expressed the same way. A man can't come across as a sissy. That is weakness. Our joy doesn't have the same textures because our freedom is always associated with our ability or inclination to take care of, be in control of self, and strong in the light of our sense of freedom ,and capable and ready to fight, and defend and protect.

Healing the wounds of damaged masculinity is a vague notion to many a crude soul, but invaluable to the self-expression a girly girl and a feminine woman's life as mother, lover or wife. The healing tools for wounded manhood are safe within the virtue, the inclination and the powers of women who know themselves, their wombs and who they are.

Her Ass & Our Perceptions

Rihanna holding her ass onstage !!!!

The rapper Iggy Azalea claims her bottom is more a burden not allowing her to wear pants As fine, successful and gifted as Rihanna is she, like all of us harbors feelings of lack, or inferiority. In the 2012 Harper's' Bazaar issue she said, "I miss my ass. It just went away! I need a butt. I have an idea of one, but it's not living up to its full potential right now. I want my old butt back!"

I am obviously missing something. How does one lose their butt? Women who are crack addicts and alcoholics do over time. Did she get on one of those crazy white woman "I'm desperate" diets? I don't know. What she did allude to was the constant struggle throughout the African Diaspora about the natural attributes of African people versus the European standards forced upon our thinking for centuries. - Dawn Wolf, Keeper of Stories 8.23.14

Mrs. Carter proved once again why she put the word "bootylicious" on the map with the sizzling stagewear at her On The Run tour with Jay Z, showcasing her voluptuous curves in a bodysuit. "I'm not very proud of that," she has said about catapulting the term into the Oxford Dictionary. "I wrote the song, but I wish there was another word I could have come up with if I was going to have a word in the dictionary."

Jennifer Lopez

In 2014, the sexy entertainer told L.A.'s Power 106 station that she doesn't understand the public's fascination with her backside: “In Hollywood, it’s a little bit of a novelty. But for us, who grew up where we grew up, it wasn’t that big of a deal! From when I was very young, my family would be like, ‘Jennifer’s got a [big butt].’ I was endowed in that area.

Coco Austin

Ice T's wife — and the torchbearer of Thong Thursdays on Twitter — was once insecure about her famous lumps. "When I heard that I got booty implants, I was so taken aback because for the longest time I was trying to hide my butt," she dished on The Real in 2013. "But then I took it as a compliment because I'm thinking, 'If it looks that good...!'"

Scarlett Johansson

The buxom actress pours her curves into a skintight leather catsuit to play Black Widow for the Marvel franchise. Despite her ample results from tough training, Johansson has remained modest about her assets. "There are plenty of girls with nicer butts," she told Esquire in 2006. "There are plenty of girls who work harder for nicer butts."

Things Lemony Snicket said...

model Ingrid Araly pondering the thoughts of Lemony Snicket.
June 5, 2013

“They didn't understand it, but like so many unfortunate events in life, just because you don't understand it doesn't mean it isn't so.” ― Lemony Snicket, The Bad Beginning

"But the three siblings were not born yesterday. Violet was born more than fifteen years before this particular Wednesday, and Klaus was born approximately two years after that, and even Sunny, who had just passed out of babyhood, was not born yesterday. Neither were you, unless of course I am wrong, in which case welcome to the world, little baby, and congratulations on learning to read so early in life."

Lemony Snicket

“It is true, of course, that there is no way of knowing for sure whether or not you can trust someone, for the simple reason that circumstances change all of the time. You might know someone for several years, for instance, and trust him completely as your friend, but circumstances could change and he could become very hungry, and before you knew it you could be boiling in a soup pot, because there is no way of knowing for sure.”

― Lemony Snicket, The Vile Village

'"Wicked people never have time for reading,' Dewey said. 'It's one of the reasons for their wickedness.'"

― Lemony Snicket, The Penultimate Peril

“Of course, it is quite possible to be in the dark in the dark, but there are so many secrets in the world that it is likely that you are always in the dark about one thing or another, whether you are in the dark in the dark or in the dark not in the dark, although the sun can go down so quickly that you may be in the in the dark about being in the dark, only to look around and find yourself no longer in the dark about being in the dark, but in the dark in the dark nonetheless, not only because of the dark, but because of the ballerinas in the dark, who are not in the dark about the dark, but also not in the dark about the locked cabinet, and you may be in the dark about the ballerinas digging up the locked cabinet in the dark, even though you are no longer in the dark about being in the dark, and so you are in fact in the dark about being in the dark, even though you are not in the dark about being in the dark, and so you may fall into the hole that the ballerinas have dug, which is dark, in the dark, and in the park.”

― Lemony Snicket, The End

"Every fish that swims silent,
Every bird that flies freely,
Every doe that steps softly,
Every crisp leaf that falls,
All the flowers that grow,
On this colorful tapestry,
Somehow they know,
That if man is allowed,
To destroy all we need,
He will soon have to pay
With his life
For his greed."

GOOD DAY TO DIE? Really?

"It was Sitting Bull's words made in the midst of a battle going against him and his men. He said, "Today is a good day to die for all the things of my life are here."

Those words come from another worldview, not the Western one used to misrepresent the spirit of a People." - Gregory E. Woods
