To Be Married

Dita Von Teese is clever business woman, quirky individual and Pin Up Glamour is the creation of art and the creation of beauty. Memorably she said, "I advocate glamour. Every day. Every minute." and strangely married musician Marilyn Manson. It isn't fair for me to judge why they'd be attracted to each other. How and why people marry is always a subject of interest and speculation. It is only in the throes of marriage the truths of who they are together comes into the light of day.

One day Dita von Teese gave an insight to who her and her husband were to each other:  "I've lost my luggage before and not had my makeup, and he's lost his luggage and not had his makeup - so it's great that we're always covered."

At one point in their marriage when the discussion of children came up she spoke for both of them saying, "Neither of us is ready. I don't feel that we need to have children to validate our marriage and I don't need children to claim I'm a fulfilled woman."

Marriage is an unfolding story, more of prophecy, and revelation. Marriage is kind to magic and cruel to the truth at times. It is a mysterious confession the soul needs. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 12.7.15

"I always get billed as 'Dita, internationally known fetish supermodel'. I'm really a small town girl from Michigan who has a good laugh that being a fancy-pants stripper got me here! Some people say what I do isn't very liberating. I say it's pretty liberating to get $20,000 for 10 minutes work." - Dita von Teese

What We See We Say

Dita Von Teese
Dita Von Teese has some wise words to avoid style ridicule: "You can be a juicy, ripe peach, and there's still going to be someone who doesn't like peaches, so you can either submit to someone's criticism of you, or you can get on with the business of being your own amazing self who attracts other like-minded people that appreciate you."

Tip for girls to women

Playboy Wisdom: “You can be the ripest, juiciest peach in the world, and there's still going to be somebody who hates peaches.” Dita Von Teese

Playboy pose for
the woman.

"One of the weirdest things is the distortion of beauty. Science has forged a way into the blinded, the fearful, and those sick with disgust in the mirrors of their minds, and the mirrors in their idea of self. Science has taken to the fears of women the way "jack leg preachers" take command of the weakened, and lure the cowering into their flock. Following the patterns set by the stories of the Emperor's New Clothes and the Pied Piper Western medicine has profited from illusion, and robbed many women of who they are by reformatting the dynamics of womanhood into narrow pens alongside the animals assigned to menial labor.

Plastic surgery is a growing ridicule accepted as an alternative to introspection, and the natural order of stillness, self-realization, molding, growth, study, and the eventual ascension into maturity and balance fundamental to the art of the Feminine." - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 4.25.13

DEEP seductions

Egyptian sky above the pyramids & the desert at night.

"Temptations live on the outside. The deep seductions arise. They come from within. They move about like serpents undulating causing tiers to shutter, foundations to sway, and threaten to break vows. How we treat the forms of seduction is dependent upon how we were informed of their presence, how they feel connected within us, and their powers of persuasion. Seduction likes to sit within what is most at stake and lay claim to what she will do with each vaulted place of value. The substance of seductions taste good. It sweetens the lips, and hardens the groin in a vise grip.

Seduction, as a she, compares herself to the best of both worlds we live in. She is full of the passion of promises, and fulfillment is her drink, and our elixir. Who is seduced? He who needs seduction is seduced." - Gregory E. Woods 3.19.13

KNOW THE RULES, SET YOUR RULES

Trashy Diva

Dita Von Teese

"I want to remind people of a different kind of glamour, a different look, and breaking the rules of fashion. I wanna break the rules." ~  Dita Von Teese

Dorothy Dandridge
Dorothy Dandridge knew the rules, knew the limited expectations of whites of her and her kind, but set her own and followed them. For thinking Black people we know we don't have the luxury of a first impression so we learn to act, and we eventually learn how to prepare for the second impression. It is an important survival skill, and when any of us attain high achievements a thinking Black man or woman's ears are listening for the stories of how: how they did it, and how the ancestors were called in to play. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 11.18.13
