Growing up during the Red Scare of the 1950's & the 1960's was as challenging as the first two decades of the 21st century with the constant propaganda against the United State's ever changing enemies. One of the images the war machine plays with is the image of a nation's women, and how they are perceived is always used against them, and it could be any characteristic that at any other time would be endearing. Coming up Russian women were always depicted as mannish in men's clothes. Their hair was severely wrestled into tight buns on the back of their heads, or under stern hats in muted colors to match their outfits, and accent their muscular calves.
Russia is no longer a threat to world peace, or to the US sense of dominance so the images of their women are like flowers coming out in the springtime after a long winter of discontentment. - Gregory E. Woods 5.12.13

MOTHERS' DAY
Goddess' were always depicted after birth, and had more body fat and a form inviting in the way Mothers' appear after giving birth to their children.
Katerina Stikoudi is what was once known, in a matter of speaking about the sacred, as a Greek Goddess. The very entity the Apostle Paul was bent on eradicating from the culture, and the minds of the people of his time and onward. This indication of this is traced back to the references to the Goddess Diana in his letters. This sent off bells and whispers in my teenage mind so long ago, and I began inquires into the scope of that subject with no support from the churches I attended. It was too much of a leap for any I questioned. It was a dare, for me, I could not resist exploring, and explore the subject I did until I met the first woman who embodied those mysterious attributes within her.
