Fitness models today make statements and set examples previously unheard of in Western history. In Western mythology we can find stories of women of extraordinary strength and daring. The Celtic warrior clans had plenty of women warriors to unleash upon their enemies like the Romans and the Christians. There were Black African women warriors. The Dahomey nation were not alone in the continent of Africa to unleash trained women soldiers upon an enemy. Native American women warriors in some of the tribes amongst the Plains nations made vows of revenge to take enemy lives, and vows of celibacy to mark the vow with permanence and strong powers.

Women's chief battles and accomplishments were raising families and strengthening their men, and their nations. Today, those values in the women's shields of power are ridiculed often in American circles as more and more women work outside their homes away from their children, if they have any, and outside of the Western tradition of marriages headed by men. Also, great political strides have been made by women and socially in the West it is safe for women to embrace their advancements and the freedoms, but other countries are not so fortunate.


It was once dangerous for European and American white women to advance the cause of women's suffrage. Women were killed, raped, beaten, imprisoned, thrown into crazy houses or cast into the streets by their husbands. Other things could be done to them while they campaigned for rights, equal pay, the right to their own money; in short they were seeking freedom from the societal mores set up by white men's interpretation of the Bible!

Women in countries too conservative, and steeped in their traditions to see the depth of what women were born with exercise terror upon women to protect the authority and might of men. Acid to the face, killed by beheadings sanctioned by clerics, gang rapes are examples of how cruel men became to maintain power over women, land and holy scriptures.

It is the relationship and the understanding of blood to question if a woman, or anybody wanted to understand what was going on in the battle of the sexes. It is not the trivia nonsense of American culture to play cute referring to men being from Mars and women from Venus. It is far deeper than that this hatred millions of men have for women. Those contradictions are carried in behavior, thought and gesture. Remaining unanswered and unattended the bed sores of men's belief about women's place rise up from the cumulative potions and equations we insist are from God's Word!

"What is it that fixates women of the last two decades to an ideal of body perfection by a standard long held by men? Within the last decade women have accepted the inherent disrespect of their wombs by referring to the growth of their child in their bodies as a baby bump. There is no outcry about it, so apparently the essence of a woman doesn't matter beyond her body's accessibility, and chances of getting laid, married or admired? 

It is an odd contradiction in the face of a young girl coming up in a time when direction is governed by fears of not being acceptable, or having a cavalier attitude towards standards of being, character, power and divinity. It is no longer an American distinction. We've carried this irreverence to other countries with missionary fervor, and altered cultures the world over for a very long time. Having been successful in this we somehow feel we cannot or do not have any responsibility in this transition from the ideal to the crude. Western women have for centuries been chattel from the perspective of European histories. We Africans and Native people puzzled over the demands of such a belief and paradigm over the centuries of contact. 

Today, it is something every group in the U.S. is struggling with. Without proper tools, and the advantage of the training a warrior receives the power of conformity is greater than the truth of one's authenticity. Another generation of women are coming of age disconnected from the Sacred Powers of their Wombs, and another generation of boys will never enjoy the discovery of being inside of and a part of the balancing forces of Sacred Women.

Over the span of a lifetime a woman can learn to appear one way that is strong and full, but is she? Black women's full body image is a message of their ancient lineage of divinity African women come from and are the substance of. But do Black American women hold that ancient truth to wisdom? Fundamentally, the stories of heart hold the true answers, and more often than not the filtered version of their access to power renders them powerless late in life, or earlier as a consequence of living outside of the powers within their wombs. In shorter words, the commitment to not hold their ancestries in a sacred manner within their being is the tell Death wants to know and see as a way to minimizing what is meant to be extraordinary powers. 

The wombs of women closed leaves them without power ignorant of the truth of knowledge their bodies sing to the worlds they come from and are designed to plant upon the Earth, our Mother; but not knowing the Earth is their Mother Black women suffer needlessly. Most Black women's bodies are desirable. What is the body of knowledge they pass to children born, and what have their men received into their bodies after sex? But, even in the throes of that dilemma a child does not fathom time as finite because they live in the present! They, still in the expansiveness of a universe, resume the task of being a child at some point and go back to playing. Their parents will take care of them, they reason. The remnants of the magical and hopeful aspect of childhood lives in countless women and men who panic longer as their bodies age and they see themselves clothed in old age, rejected as they reject old people, and fear aging. The story of the heart is often told in actions, and stances reveal what ails, or exalts one's spirit. The strong body of knowledge isn't the safest place to find solace. The mind will trick you into not submitting to the heart song that knows the truth unable to lie to vanity. City life can alienate the busy person, the lonely, the successful, and the homeless making their heart songs feel like voids one atop the other. It is illusion. Who we are and what we need is within us and reflects in the perceptions others have of us. Answers are everywhere. Solutions abound. ALL the "talk" about sisterhood and Women's rights...really is it selective? Sigh, I pray for more integrity and unity amongst Women. I was sheltered in some respects in my upbringing. Not only did my parents skillfully shield me from the ravages of Jim Crow I had the kind of purity that comes from a childhood of prayer, play, mischief, care, and a shield of protection I thought was the norm that allowed me to explore and explore and explore. I was a novice to the frailties of human nature, and how fragile ideals were in the face and the body of the presence of a woman full of needs, and desires, and powers as strong, if not stronger than Mother Nature herself.

I’d lost my virginity in my 20’s because of my training, and initiations into the mysteries of celibacy, and sexuality at 14 years of age. It marked me distinguishing me in ways that took decades to unravel. This isn't a boast. It is necessary background to understand my answers to the questions adultery creates.

It is the existence of truth that makes the lies of adulteries plausible, or horrifying. Adultery for both parties creates a dynamic dichotomy that is difficult to unwrap if one is a married Priest-Warrior, or a Sacred Woman in bed with another mate. I say mate because people of that calibre have a grasp upon things that rival the thinking of people dominated with predatory lust. Theirs is an alternate reality with a set of responsibilities I won’t speak of it on Facebook. Although, I suspect I might have already during my tenure on this medium.

There is an infantile need that comes up in the best of people when sexually aroused. Seen in the opposite sex it is desirable. The sexual dynamics and the bittersweet and intangible pull between men and women is the stuff, the fabric, the dynamic light that engages and captivates us all. The Puritan’s influence upon Western Christianity, and the cultural shame attached to sex we've all inherited shadows our spirits, our thinking, our bodies, our urges, and our need for sex, intimacy, sexual release, and as Marvin Gaye sang it in his song, Sexual Healing. Outside of animal attraction sexual release is expansion. But how can anything about sex be outside of animal attraction?

The great warrior, Morihei Ueshiba died in 1969. He was 83 years old. At 80 years old this master could disarm any foe, down any number of attackers, and pin an opponent with a single finger. He was a man of peace who detested fighting, and war. Morihei Ueshiba was the founder of Aikido. In his life he received three (3) visions that transformed him, and the world. He also said, “Eight (8) forces sustain creation: movement and stillness, solidification and fluidity, extension and contraction, unification and division.”

This visual is what we are born into as creative beings. We are born sensitive to the intangible fabric of what breathes into the world, what holds the world(s) together, and activates change, karma, instinct, excitement, knowing, and knowledge! On one level, which is primal, is the body speaking to another body. It cannot be stopped the communications between bodies.
