Delve.

bold Black woman in yellow midi dress.

Bold in the firmament of one's belief is best displayed in a form of beauty assessable to the easy part of being human. Capturing it, as a photographer, a musician, a poet, a healer, is an art form developed within the musician, the photographer, the poet, the healer and the person learning to become whole! Appreciation is a study of gratitude... - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 4/10/18

There is a gap here between two states of being a woman many are unable to navigate. Because the value of belief in the sacred is vague women can remain in the shadows of the art form of being feminine in essence. With the compromise made with homosexuality women, in the West, learned to equate freedom of expression with the right for men to intrude upon their distinct place in the balances of Life; not as life givers, but pretenders in a sacred role. Understanding of this has been forced to the fringes of modern life. Its exclusion feeds the disillusionment of the roles that engineered protection and balances to engage in the dance of existence as a whole, and guides the confusing violence from men towards women!

Because 'rights' are more important than truth all of these things make victims of this onslaught in American culture; many compromises have been made in the name of 'It is my right!' and unaware children waddle and wade in this confusion pretending to be the right way to be.

LITTLE RICHARD

Ignoring all the false sentiment and forced support for being aligned with saluting feminine men Little Richard came up in a time of crisis in the Negro community deep in a struggle (once again) to reconstruct manhood. The demons of white sensibilities towards Colored peoples had hard deep feelings about what the law allowed to happen to Black men.

The law allowed itself to be used as white men saw fit, and the law also forbade Negro men from protecting their families from the violent whims of white men and white women and white children. The men struggled with this internally and many defied those men's inclination killing some white men here and there. They escaped north, assumed new names and disappeared into another America.

Little Richard was a great contradiction. He came up in that struggle and pushed his feminine manhood into the face of white people, who fear a power he never identified as power, but led them to acceptance because the sexual nature of Richard's music tantalized listener's contradictions around sex, and sex appeal. Black people were afraid of many things, but proud of any 'Member', as we called one another back then; who succeeded in the entertainment world. Little Richard acquired so much personal power he was spared the severe beatings he would have received from men had he not being so powerful a force and successful. His achievement was so important the African within was exalted, somehow, and perceived by Black folks one way without fear, but pride and by whites with wonder, awe and a reckoning of their own fundamental flaw: inferiority before true genius of the dark melanin and African spiritual powers Little Richard evoked, used and understood.

I remember this clearly. Little Richard was a sissy. In those days Blacks made a choice about men like him: beat him, kill him, accept him, ignore him or try to understand.

Outbreak: LAW against Sense

Eight employees of the Netflix show, House of Cards, accused actor Kevin Spacey of sexual harassment, and assault. One of the young men said:

"The low-level staffer recalled being assigned to pick Spacey up for an on-location shoot outside of Baltimore. As they were approaching the set, Spacey while behind the wheel “put his hands down the production assistant’s pants.”

“I was in a state of shock,” he said. “He was a man in a very powerful position on the show and I was someone very low on the totem pole and on the food chain there.”

Once they arrived, he escorted Spacey to his trailer with his belongings. In the trailer, the production assistant alleges that Spacey cornered him and blocked the exit.

“I told him, ‘I don’t think I’m ok with this, I don’t think I’m comfortable with this,'” the production assistant said. That’s when the actor became “visibly flustered,” fled the trailer, got in his car and left for the remainder of the day, according to the production assistant."

Part Two

This narrative of a male victim of the sexual advances of a predatory homosexual man is typical. The advent of the Gay Rights movement at the height of its agenda manifesting as law, devoid of its moral contradictions, has created an acceptance of weakness supplanting decisive actions to protect boys from these men. The men who prey now have an out: denial. They have been relying on the naysayers against the relationship between pedophiles, and homosexuality, as a way of being 'afraid of homosexuals'. In the real world, this has foolish a belief to intake. It is a deadly mistake. The victims are everywhere lost in the mess of being compliant, of being accepting, or pretending.

The hard question: "how do we protect our children?" is lost in the Western quest to be tolerant, as the potential victims are being persuaded to allow almost anything, thus creating more vulnerable victims unable to protect themselves effectively.

Part Three
Shamed on national television, one of my favorite actors, is being told on by the young boys, and men he was used to getting his way with. This narrative of a male victim of the sexual advances of a predatory homosexual man is typical. With a populace pretending there is no connection between pedophiles and homosexuality and the national fear of Gay activists, the responsibility to protect virginity and vulnerability is without the question: "How do we protect the innocent?" This edict is far from the lexicon of adulthood, of parenting.

"How do we teach children to defend themselves against predators looking for boys to have sex?"

What is currently passing for sage advice is fundamentally unstructured with no strength of character. It is all in the words of one of the victims I've laid before you to read and ponder:

Part Four

The above mentioned boy's way of getting out and away from Kevin Spacey worked, but it reflected the very weakness of men like this, and centuries ago in ancient Greece and Rome with a similar climate, men like this could manipulate feelings and fear, and have their way. But, many men, true men, would have taught their sons deadly arts that would have left Spacey with a pencil in the soft tissue of an ear, or worse. The father of a boy who'd defended himself thus would step in, at this point, and take on the law in the most logical of ways to protect his son from the system of thought that pretends this reality does not exist.

Butt, of all things.

Kevin Spacey is one of my favorite actors. It was the television series, Wise Guys, I first saw the man in action. It was a serious performance as a sick, wicked head of a criminal enterprise he played. I watched it many times over the decades since, and tried to see everything he has been a part of as an actor. There is something seamless in his link between the inner worlds his characterizations come from and the tenuous hold he seems to have on hard life as a physical state of being. Being himself he easily fit into the identity of a semblance of a man; probably a gay man we thought. He wasn't a personal part of my life and therefore no threat, or potential threat to my children or young relatives; so it didn't matter.

But, his homosexuality has come to the forefront after being accused by a now grown actor, Anthony Rapp, of trying to hump him when he was a 14 year old boy. Spacey, 26 at the time, escaped the ass whipping he deserved and the boy left the impression from his telling that something happened changing him. It lingered so long in the boy's life into adulthood.

Spacey's admission was troubling, yes, but his way of pointing to the connection between sexual predation over children and adult gay life will not be drawn by public figures, into conversation. Who will protect the children in the striving, the 'fight' for 'Gay rights'? So far, not in the cards. . . - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 10/31/17

WHEN AMERICA WAS GREAT: Negro woman's story.

“We Are Literally Slaves”: An Early Twentieth-Century Black Nanny Sets the Record Straight

In folklore the black nursemaid was seen as a dutiful, self-sacrificing black woman who loved her white family and its children every bit as much as her own. Yet the popular images of the loyal, contented black nursemaid, or “mammy,” were unfortunately far from the reality for the Negro women who worked in these homes. In 1912 the Independent printed this quasi-autobiographical account of servant life, as related by an Negro domestic worker, which dispelled the comforting “mammy” myth.

I am a negro woman, and I was born and reared in the South. I am now past forty years of age and am the mother of three children. My husband died nearly fifteen years ago, after we had been married about five years. For more than thirty years—or since I was ten years old—I have been a servant in one capacity or another in white families in a thriving Southern city, which has at present a population of more than 50,000. In my early years I was at first what might be called a “house-girl, "or, better, a “house-boy.” I used to answer the doorbell, sweep the yard, go on errands and do odd jobs. Later on I became a chambermaid and performed the usual duties of such a servant in a home. Still later I was graduated into a cook, in which position I served at different times for nearly eight years in all. During the last ten years I have been a nurse. I have worked for only four different families during all these thirty years. But, belonging to the servant class, which is the majority class among my race at the South, and associating only with servants, I have been able to become intimately acquainted not only with the lives of hundreds of household servants, but also with the lives of their employers. I can, therefore, speak with authority on the so-called servant question; and what I say is said out of an experience which covers many years.

To begin with, then, I should say that more than two-thirds of the negroes of the town where I live are menial servants of one kind or another, and besides that more than two-thirds of the negro women here, whether married or single, are compelled to work for a living, — as nurses, cooks, washerwomen, chambermaids, seamstresses, hucksters, janitresses, and the like. I will say, also, that the condition of this vast host of poor colored people is just as bad as, if not worse than, it was during the days of slavery. Tho today we are enjoying nominal freedom, we are literally slaves. And, not to generalize, I will give you a sketch of the work I have to do—and I’m only one of many.

I frequently work from fourteen to sixteen hours a day. I am compelled by my contract, which is oral only, to sleep in the house. I am allowed to go home to my own children, the oldest of whom is a girl of 18 years, only once in two weeks, every other Sunday afternoon—even then I’m not permitted to stay all night. I not only have to nurse a little white child, now eleven months old, but I have to act as playmate or “handy-andy,” not to say governess, to three other children in the home, the oldest of whom is only nine years of age. I wash and dress the baby two or three times each day, I give it its meals, mainly from a bottle; I have to put it to bed each night; and, in addition, I have to get up and attend to its every call between midnight and morning. If the baby falls to sleep during the day, as it has been trained to do every day about eleven o’clock, I am not permitted to rest. It’s “Mammy, do this, ”or "Mammy, do that,” or “Mammy, do the other,” from my mistress, all the time. So it is not strange to see “Mammy” watering the lawn in front with the garden hose, sweeping the sidewalk, mopping the porch and halls, dusting around the house, helping the cook, or darning stockings. Not only so, but I have to put the other three children to bed each night as well as the baby, and I have to wash them and dress them each morning. I don’t know what it is to go to church; I don’t know what it is to go to a lecture or entertainment or anything of the kind. I live a treadmill life; and I see my own children only when they happen to see me on the streets when I am out with the children, or when my children come to the “yard” to see me, which isn’t often, because my white folks don’t like to see their servants' children hanging around their premises. You might as well say that I’m on duty all the time—from sunrise to sunrise, every day in the week I am the slave, body and soul, of this family. And what do I get for this work—this lifetime bondage? The pitiful sum of ten dollars a month! And what am I expected to do with these ten dollars? With this money I’m expected to pay my house rent, which is four dollars per month, for a little house of two rooms, just big enough to turn round in; and I’m expected, also, to feed and clothe myself and three children. For two years my oldest child, it is true, has helped a little toward our support by taking in a little washing at home. She does the washing and ironing of two white families, with a total of five persons; one of these families pays her $1.00 per week, and the other 75 cents per week, and my daughter has to furnish her own soap and starch and wood For six months my youngest child, a girl about thirteen years old, has been nursing, and she receives $1.50 per week but has no night work. When I think of the low rate of wages we poor colored people receive, and when I hear so much said about our unreliability, our untrustworthiness, and even our vices, I recall the story of the private soldier in a certain army who, once upon a time, being upbraided by the commanding officer because the heels of his shoes were not polished, is said to have replied “Captain, do you expect all the virtues for $13 per month?”

Of course, nothing is being done to increase our wages, and the way things are going at present it would seem that nothing could be done to cause an increase of wages. We have no labor unions or organizations of any kind that could demand for us a uniform scale of wages for cooks, washerwomen, nurses, and the like; and, for another thing, if some negroes did here and there refuse to work for seven and eight and ten dollars a month, there would be hundreds of other negroes right on the spot ready to take their places and do the same work, or more, for the low wages that had been refused So that, the truth is, we have to work for little or nothing or become vagrants! And that, of course, in this State would mean that we would be arrested, tried, and despatched to the "State Farm,” where we would surely have to work for nothing or be beaten with many stripes!

Nor does this low rate of pay tend to make us efficient servants. The most that can be said of us negro household servants in the South—and I speak as one of them—is that we are to the extent of our ability willing and faithful slaves. We do not cook according to scientific principles because we do not know anything about scientific principles. Most of our cooking is done by guesswork or by memory. We cook well when our “hand” is in, as we say, and when anything about the dinner goes wrong, we simply say, “I lost my hand today!” We don’t know anything about scientific food for babies, nor anything about what science says must be done for infants at certain periods of their growth or when certain symptoms of disease appear, but somehow we “raise” more of the children than we kill, and, for the most part, they are lusty chaps—all of them. But the point is, we do not go to cooking-schools nor to nurse-training schools and so it can not be expected that we should make as efficient servants without such training as we should make were such training provided And yet with our cooking and nursing, such as it is, the white folks seem to be satisfied—perfectly satisfied. I sometimes wonder if this satisfaction is the outgrowth of the knowledge that more highly trained servants would be able to demand better pay!

Perhaps some might say, if the poor pay is the only thing about which we have to complain, then the slavery in which we daily toil and struggle is not so bad after all. But the poor pay isn’t all—not by any means! I remember very well the first and last place from which I was dismissed. I lost my place because I refused to let the madam’s husband kiss me. He must have been accustomed to undue familiarity with his servants, or else he took it as a matter of course, because without any love-making at all, soon after I was installed as cook, he walked up to me, threw his arms around me, and was in the act of kissing me, when I demanded to know what he meant, and shoved him away. I was young then, and newly married, and didn’t know then what has been a burden to my mind and heart ever since: that a colored woman’s virtue in this part of the country has no protection. I at once went home, and told my husband about it. When my husband went to the man who had insulted me, the man cursed him, and slapped him, and—had him arrested! The police judge fined my husband $25. I was present at the hearing, and testified on oath to the insult offered me. The white man, of course, denied the charge. The old judge looked up and said “This court will never take the word of a nigger against the word of a white man.”

Many and many a time since I have heard similar stories repeated again and again by my friends. I believe nearly all white men take, and expect to take, undue liberties with their colored female servants—not only the fathers, but in many cases the sons also. Those servants who rebel against such familiarity must either leave or expect a mighty hard time, if they stay. By comparison, those who tamely submit to these improper relations live in clover. They always have a little "spending change,” wear better clothes, and are able to get off from work at least once a week—and sometimes oftener. This moral debasement is not at all times unknown to the white women in these homes. I know of more than one colored woman who was openly importuned by white women to become the mistresses of their white husbands, on the ground that they, the white wives, were afraid that, if their husbands did not associate with colored women, they would certainly do so with outside white women, and the white wives, for reasons which ought to be perfectly obvious, preferred to have their husbands do wrong with colored women in order to keep their husbands straight! And again, I know at least fifty places in my small town where white men are positively raising two families—a white family in the "Big House” in front, and a colored family in a “Little House” in the backyard. In most cases, to be sure, the colored women involved are the cooks or chambermaids or seamstresses, but it cannot be true that their real connection with the white men of the families is unknown to the white women of the families. The results of this concubinage can be seen in all of our colored churches and in all of our colored public schools in the South, for in most of our churches and schools the majority of the young men and women and boys and girls are light-skinned mulattoes. The real, Simon-pure, blue-gum, thick-lip, coal black negro is passing away—certainly in the cities; and the fathers of the new generation of negroes are white men, while their mothers are unmarried colored women.

Another thing—it’s a small indignity, it may be, but an indignity just the same. No white person, not even the little children just learning to talk, no white person at the South ever thinks of addressing any negro man or woman as Mr., or Mrs., or Miss. The women are called, “Cook,” or “Nurse,” or “Mammy,” or “Mary Jane,” or “Lou,” or “Dilcey,” as the case might be, and the men are called “Bob,” or “Boy, "or “Old Man,” or “Uncle Bill,” or “Pate.” In many cases our white employers refer to us, and in our presence, too, as their “niggers.” No matter what they call us—no matter what they teach their children to call us—we must tamely submit, and answer when we are called; we must enter no protest; if we did object, we should be driven out without the least ceremony, and, in applying for work at other places, we should find it very hard to procure another situation. In almost every case, when our intending employers would be looking up our record, the information would be give by telephone or otherwise that we were “impudent,” "saucy,“ "dishonest, "and “generally unreliable.” In our town we have no such thing as an employment agency or intelligence bureau, and, therefore, when we want work, we have to get out on the street and go from place to place, always with hat in hand, hunting for it.

Another thing. Sometimes I have gone on the street cars or the railroad trains with the white children, and, so long as I was in charge of the children, I could sit anywhere I desired, front or back. If a white man happened to ask some other white man, “What is that nigger doing in here?” and was told, “Oh, she’s the nurse of those white children in front of her!” immediately there was the hush of peace. Everything was all right, so long as I was in the white man’s part of the street car or in the white man’s coach as a servant—a slave—but as soon as I did not present myself as a menial, and the relationship of master and servant was abolished by my not having the white children with me, I would be forthwith assigned to the “nigger” seats or the “colored people’s coach. "Then, too, any day in my city, and I understand that it is so in every town in the South, you can see some “great big black burly” negro coachman or carriage driver huddled up beside some aristocratic Southern white woman, and nothing is said about it, nothing is done about it, nobody resents the familiar contact. But let that same colored man take off his brass buttons and his high hat, and put on the plain livery of an average American citizen, and drive one block down any thoroughfare in any town in the South with that same white woman, as her equal or companion or friend, and he’d be shot on the spot!

You hear a good deal nowadays about the “service pan.” The “service pan” is the general term applied to “left-over” food, which in many a Southern home is freely placed at the disposal of the cook or, whether so placed or not, it is usually disposed of by the cook. In my town, I know, and I guess in many other towns also, every night when the cook starts for her home she takes with her a pan or a plate of cold victuals. The same thing is true on Sunday afternoons after dinner—and most cooks have nearly every Sunday afternoon off. Well, I’ll be frank with you, if it were not for the service pan, I don’t know what the majority of our Southern colored families would do. The service pan is the mainstay in many a home. Good cooks in the South receive on an average $8 per month. Porters, butlers, coachmen, janitors, “office boys” and the like receive on an average $16 per month. Few and far between are the colored men in the South who receive $1 or more per day. Some mechanics do; as for example, carpenters, brick masons, wheelwrights, blacksmiths, and the like. The vast majority of negroes in my town are serving in menial capacities in homes, stores and offices.

Now taking it for granted, for the sake of illustration, that the husband receives $16 per month and the wife $8. That would be $24 between the two. The chances are that they will have anywhere from five to thirteen children between them. Now, how far will $24 go toward housing and feeding and clothing ten or twelve persons for thirty days? And, I tell you, with all of us poor people the service pan is a great institution; it is a great help to us, as we wag along the weary way of life. And then most of the white folks expect their cooks to avail themselves of these perquisites; they allow it; they expect it. I do not deny that the cooks find opportunity to hide away at times, along with the cold “grub,”a little sugar, a little flour, a little meal, or a little piece of soap; but I indignantly deny that we are thieves. We don’t steal; we just “take” things—they are a part of the oral contract, exprest or implied. We understand it, and most of the white folks understand it. Others may denounce the service pan, and say that it is used only to support idle negroes, but many a time, when I was a cook, and had the responsibility of rearing my three children upon my lone shoulders, many a time I have had occasion to bless the Lord for the service pan!

I have already told you that my youngest girl was a nurse. With scores of other colored girls who are nurses, she can be seen almost any afternoon, when the weather is fair, rolling the baby carriage or lolling about on some one of the chief boulevards of our town. The very first week that she started out on her work she was insulted by a white man, and many times since has been improperly approached by other white men. It is a favorite practice of young white sports about town—and they are not always young, either—to stop some colored nurse, inquire the name of the “sweet little baby,” talk baby talk to the child, fondle it, kiss it, make love to it, etc., etc., and in nine of ten cases every such white man will wind up by making love to the colored nurse and seeking an appointment with her.

I confess that I believe it to be true that many of our colored girls are as eager as the white men are to encourage and maintain these improper relations; but where the girl is not willing, she has only herself to depend upon for protection. If their fathers, brothers or husbands seek to redress their wrongs, under our peculiar conditions, the guiltless negroes will be severely punished, if not killed, and the white blackleg will go scot-free!

Ah, we poor colored women wage earners in the South are fighting a terrible battle, and because of our weakness, our ignorance, our poverty, and our temptations we deserve the sympathies of mankind. Perhaps a million of us are introduced daily to the privacy of a million chambers thruout the South, and hold in our arms a million white children, thousands of whom, as infants, are suckled at our breasts—during my lifetime I myself have served as “wet nurse” to more than a dozen white children. On the one hand, we are assailed by white men, and on the other hand, we are assailed by black men, who should be our natural protectors; and, whether in the cook kitchen, at the washtub, over the sewing machine, behind the baby carriage, or at the ironing board, we are but little more than pack horses, beasts of burden, slaves!

In the distant future, it may be, centuries and centuries hence, a monument of brass or stone will be erected to the Old Black Mammies of the South, but what we need is present help, present sympathy, better wages, better hours, more protection, and a chance to breathe for once while alive as free women. If none others will help us, it would seem that the Southern white women themselves might do so in their own defense, because we are rearing their children—we feed them, we bathe them, we teach them to speak the English language, and in numberless instances we sleep with them—and it is inevitable that the lives of their children will in some measure be pure or impure according as they are affected by contact with their colored nurses.

PARENTING in TRUTH

It is hard to gauge the strength of moral character in the face, or in front of your sexual fetish; whatever it may be. What is difficult is restraining yourself. Some boys and men have never seen an example of restraint believing wholeheartedly pussy/women are to be taken. If it is warm and wet and she hints at intercourse, take it! If you imagine switching places, and there is a large homosexual man on the prowl, and you as a 17 year old boy are his fetish what do you face with him taking you from behind? He feels the way you feel about sex, and taking what he wants. How would you feel in the moment, and afterwards with him spent and relieved, and you sore and defiled?

This happens a lot. It is frightening. It is everywhere. This scenario is an indescribable terror silenced by the fanfare of Gay activism currently en vogue selecting what topics will be discussed from their agenda for validation, and acceptance. But, the question Elders pose is simple and profound. Who will protect the children? Who will protect innocence and the innocent child from the ravenous beasts?

Against the cultural backdrop of adults incapable of not giving their children to powers that work against the value and the substance of their child's essence what chance has a child to be their authentic self as an adult? Education is not the answer. The value of education is in its ability to steer a boat away from dangerous currents, not justify with the head what the heart knows to be a truth!

There are many examples of excellence around us, and in world history and American history of parenting styles that produced at a high level extraordinary adults who shaped the world from their vantage point of authenticity. Millions of people despise Condolezza Rice for good reasons, and unfounded reasons based in misconceptions founded in the way their parents raised them with unsubstantiated fears. The core of Ms. Rice is how her parents raised her in the segregated South!

There is my father who was the Chairman of C.O.R.E. in the late 1960's in Washington DC. Paul Hines who was the Virginia high school coach who was part of the team of black coaches that profoundly shaped Virginia white and black boys in the early 1970's. Their lives were featured in a film Denzel Washington starred in. There was Mr. & Mrs. Holmes down the street from us who were educators of the highest order in Black middle class Prince Georges County, Maryland, who raise their sons in their realms to such a degree their two sons could not help but be their authentic selves as family men. David Tolson's parents raised their four sons simultaneously on four levels of being to be principled, owners, men and investors in the four levels of their being.

These are people most don't know of, but live amongst us. If people cannot look at their celebrities to see these attributes look around your world. We are in every neighborhood, city, town and country.

I am not a advocate of homosexuality but I say Black Heterosexuals(we) better get our cultural core right and stop letting the White man(Western world) tell you what is Heterosexuality. You think the Western culture, which is faulty to the root will have, by "magic", correctly define phenomenons such as heterosexuality? Sorry a apple seed changes to an apple tree not an orange tree.

Some of us do not approve of homosexuality but many Black men has western cultural core penis envy. On the flip side our women are mathematical feminist, this is when Black women think the white math is correct and women should have the same right to use homo(western) math as white men. When you send your children to them public, private or schools with western(homo) curriculum your condoning homosexuality as defined by the Western world and you agree that the White man has the right to define heterosexuality FOR YOU. Fact.  I say this with the Love of the Black Nation. New Black Nation(KemPtah). -  Kumwaga Ra-Nu Kiganja KemPtah 6.21.14

There Is Much To Being A MAN!

tattoos of a Black woman

In the study of being a man this topic is important. The aspect of manhood that is the warrior is required to examine this subject. Its meanings and affect on the psyche of children, and social conditioning affect the outcome of the substance of Life, and the lives of our children. That being said, and there is more to be said, I don't believe there is enough courage amongst many to broach this subject online, or in the open out of fear of the political power and structure of the Gay Movement. Meanwhile, in the real world there is a darker side to homosexuality that many parents, teachers and healers have to deal with in the shadow of coached public opinion.

You raise a powerful and disturbing question, Kumwaga Ra-Nu Kiganja KemPtah, asking if white people have the right to define heterosexuality for Black people! That is a hard question to ask a people whose intellectual and spiritual and cultural structures are formed and fashioned by whites and their relationship with white people spurns their onward progress in American society. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 6.22.14

"See the law of identity (crisis) is a Western cultural core filter which nurtures homosexuality. In algebra we learn that the equal sign is a balancing sign. And the law of identity states that Man=Man (Man can only balance Man) and Woman=Woman (Woman balances with Woman) and they abhor Man=Woman (Man balance Woman and vice versa). They call the unity of the great diversity "Contradictions" which undermines Western faulty thought and practice. Western thought and practice is circular thought for nothing."Kumwaga Ra-Nu Kiganja KemPtah 6.21.14

A Dark Seldom Told Story

The Bible Is Against Homosexuality

"It grieves me both sides of the question of homosexuality for several reasons. For one there is no balance to perception or trying to fully understand each position. Fear of the question(s) each won't ask of themselves stands on each side. The Christians deny a great deal of their 'sin' and their participation in the terror leashed upon homosexuals through the centuries and homosexuals want an end to the terror of their lives we have visited upon them for reasons we will not try to fathom.

For starters most of the fight for equality was started by white activists. People of color found quiet ways to deal with what was believed to be an affront, and the end result of the brutality of rape, incest and forced incarceration from 1877 onward, and the practices of white men upon Black men during slavery. Either way the blood connection and the love of a child superseded the dogma of protests and activism in the Black American community. Historically, Blacks were and have been long connected to Native American traditions for at least 5,000 years. So, one's sensibilities seeped into the others giving a perspective that found ways to cherish their kin and be angry and disapproving at the same time. To us, the white paradigms always create dysfunction to what can, or has traditionally worked. That is one part of the story." - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 2.16.14

SAMPSON

Black woman undressing

breasts of a Black woman held by her

"Sampson stood between pain and belief, love for, and service to his People, the God of Creation, and the fires boiling in him for the woman he loved, and had to be inside of, and lost a conflict. The conflicts of great men are different from regular men steeped in mediocrity and the mundane. Their conflicts are of a complex nature because of the dual tasks of being ordinary and approachable, and dark and deep within the responsibilities of the strong man of God, and country. If it has taken centuries to retell and fathom the complexity of Sampson how much study of self is required of the strong men in modern times?

Spiritual sciences advance ahead of the intellectual developments of mankind in some seasons, and in other seasons it is the reverse. One element often out of place within men are the emotions. The intelligence of emotions is in the landscape emotions dwell and occupy with imagination, and deception. They are led by a wise Eunuch sometimes who has no commitment to the directions he can lead a soul. Other times emotions are led by a steely brand of soldier, and there are the multiple times emotions are led by women in command of the forces between their legs.

"Pussy and divinity; one comes from the other. Which came first?" This question came to me in my Dreamtime some years ago,and it is a question Sampson had to answer one way or another. For Sampson Delilah's pussy and her love for him and what she could do to a man was intoxicating to both her and the mighty Sampson. How he answered the question without counsel undermined the inner strength he possessed that was balanced by several sources of power from elements that sustain Earth, Dreams, and Creation. Coming from different places Sampson was created by prayers, love, angst, pity, sorrow, brutality and revenge. The divine source of his being came from and was captivated by the strongest source of power upon the Earth: the Womb of his Mother and the Wombs of his lovers.

A woman is never the weakness of the man's strength. She is a weakness to weak men, but to strong men the essence of her being is primal to his thinking and his existence suckles nightly on who he is man to, and during the day burns a fire he cannot quench when her legs open unto him the secrets of divinity, spiritual resources of camaraderie, and give him access to the higher creatures in the higher realms. There was nothing simple or childish about Sampson as a man, a Judge over Israel, or as the savior of his people. Jesus also deserves fair assessment as a man by men in these times as manhood is dragged before a league of nations to be judged for past misdeeds. Those misdeeds center around the penis, and men's inability to take on the mantle of strength of responsibility and be a Protector, a Priest-Warrior, a good son, wise husband, and a friend, in the deepest sense of the word. Worse of all was the unacceptable misunderstanding of Power. For that men are judged by the energies they created through rape of children, women, and other men.

Manhood is a deep calling from one lifetime to another. It is not a wonder why some in between worlds cannot amass the courage it takes to be a man in any lifetime and seeks to cross the gender lines in this lifetime because science has merged with soul loss and created a technology without the guidelines of divinity.

GAY OR HAPPY MARRIAGE!!

"Should government, at any level, regulate marriage be it a heterosexual or homosexual couple?" - Brian Hersey, 3.27.2010

"People wanted separation of church and state. They got it, but now want the state to redefine what the bible defines as a marriage. Seriously? Every freedom is a double-edged sword. Freedom of speech isn't just as long as it doesn't anger you...it's there.

I also don't think a government has the right to define what makes up a family. I'm for unions, including plurals among adults. Can't have the term 'marriage' though and I hold each state accountable to uphold it, but I'm all for the rights of whatever is defined as a functional and loving family." - Charles Comer, 10.16.13

"No, but it should not be redefined by them either. Next we'll have people wanting to marry their pets--or maybe even their favorite pair of shoes. Who is to say that marriage should have to be between people. Marriage is ordained of God and needs to stay that way. Have any relationship you wish but leave the definition of marriage alone and let people have the religious freedom promised in the constitution." - Tom Martin 11.24.13

"Marriage was and is, first and foremost, a private (in most cases, religious) affair. The gov't decided to recognize and facilitate the institution of marriage with financial and legal privileges in order to encourage responsible procreation. Growing the US population grows the US economy, and thus tax base, workforce, ie. number of employers and employees, fills out the military ranks for a strong national defense, etc. The gov't has a state interest in encouraging population growth, which is why the public institution was established with certain regulations, benefits and purposes in mind. The gov't did not establish the public institution of marriage to recognize people's "love" for each other, "love" is neither a legal requirement nor justification for getting married, the gov't could care less whether two persons getting married "love" each other. The gov't recognizes marriage for one reason: to encourage conception, birth, and responsible child-raising--a purpose which same-sex couples cannot contribute towards because last time I checked, it is impossible for two persons of the same gender to impregnate one another. It's not discrimination, it's biology. If the state interest in population growth is no longer relevant, then the gov't should abolish the institution--which is clearly being bastardized now for political ends--and allow the private sector (e.g. the Church) to resume its prerogative to recognize marriage according to its rules & purposes." - Dan Frazee, 8.12.13

Making Stands

Kentucky clerk Kim Davis in secret meeting with Pope Francis, report says

by Calla Wahlquist for the

Kim Davis, the Kentucky county court clerk who spent five days in jail for refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples, is reported to have had a private meeting with the pope during his historic US tour.

According to a statement posted on the website of Christian lobby group the Liberty Council, Pope Francis met Davis and her husband, Joe, at the Vatican’s Washington DC embassy on Thursday. The statement carries the stamp of the Liberty Council’s founder and chairman, Matt Staver, who is acting as Davis’s lawyer in her dispute with the court.

The statement, which is based on a report from Inside The Vatican, says that the pope thanked Davis for her “courage” and told her to “stay strong”. He then said he would pray for her and presented both her and her husband with a rosary, the Liberty Council claimed.

Davis is then quoted as saying that she was “humbled” by the experience: “I never thought I would meet the pope. Who am I to have this rare opportunity? I am just a county clerk who loves Jesus and desires with all my heart to serve him.”

“Pope Francis was kind, genuinely caring, and very personable,” her statement continued. “He even asked me to pray for him. Pope Francis thanked me for my courage and told me to ‘stay strong’.”

The Vatican has not responded to the reports.

Staver, who founded the Liberty Council in 1989, linked the meeting to the pontiff’s comments about conscientious objection, which prompted a flurry of speculation about whether the pope was referring to Davis.

“Not only did Pope Francis know of Kim Davis, he personally met with her to express his support,” Staver said.

U.S. Soldiers Told to Ignore Afghan Allies’ Abuse of Boys

Anyone who has lived in that part of the world knows how deeply entrenched is the sexual abuse of boys and girls. This report only highlights by chance what is a practice we will not do anything about. What isn't going to be stopped is the men on men practice on and off U.S. bases in Afghanistan, or Iraq. The Arabian countries routinely raping boys and girls after raiding their villages in parts of Africa for slaves will continue the trade. What will Americans do? What can Americans do but express outrage since we prefer to believe there is no connection between a man raping a boy, or the prison rape culture upon the outcome of a man's homosexuality! In our history are the countless stories of homosexual abuse employed by white men upon men of color as a terror tactic. What in this world can we do beyond rant about this with our story public knowledge on the worldwide web?

This worldview is a traceable attribute of the American and European's way of justifying morally deplorable practices during their quest for world domination. With that as a backdrop for our expressed outrage over the Afghan practice of bacha bazi (boy play) where is our moral high ground if our defense of Afghani boys and girls is grounded in a marred spiritual framework? - Gregory E. FACEBOOK, for or not

vulnerable beauty of a Black Woman
I had my moment recently when Facebook shut me down. Apparently one person pointed me out as abusive. I'd written two thoughtful pieces probing the the legitimacy of the claim that Bruce Jenner was a woman, and if women claimed him to be one how much degradation to their essence and their wombs will women take? It was an introspective. The other thing is even more complex. About nine posts from an old photo gallery of mine on the sacredness of women and the womb were deemed offensive!

I am fully aware of the intense power of the Gay activist's movement, and the sheer weight of its intimidation techniques. Basically, bullying. That placed against the fear U.S. citizens carry like sheep easily led here and there outside of diatribes the average person is held captive in a strange paralyzing fear that asks little, protects no innocent, and no child. In that vacuum I posed questions public forums do not ask!

That is a long way of blowing off steam, but the second thing about the Gestapo system of governing Facebook uses is their inability or unwillingness to look at any side of a complaint save the complainant. It makes them look weak, pitiful and unskilled in customer service. But, as a large corporation why should they care as long as they look socially responsible?

The third thing. Facebook is determining whether Native Americans' names are 'Indian enough'! If not, in their estimation, they threaten them, or in the end take their page down. So far, they have not approached me, but no matter how many of us are bullied thus we have our responsibilities in worlds that matter...

Timothy W Higgins at Just Blowing Smoke...

Timothy, I have been thinking about your presence online and of the same things about Facebook of late. I am pondering setting Facebook aside. I had my moment recently when Facebook shut me down. Problem with the Plumbing

flag flown by actress Elizabeth Banks

“From slavery and the days of Jim Crow through the civil rights movement and beyond, white supremacists have targeted the Black church because of its importance as a pillar of the Black community, the center for leadership and institution building, education, social and political development and organizing to fight oppression,” Love wrote.

“Strike at the Black church, and you strike at the heart of Black American life,” the writer added.

face covered - Domi Dollz

I have listened and read on this subject since childhood. My father kept a photograph of two Black men hanging from a tree above his desk. I saw it everyday as a little boy. Daddy's life work balanced the terror of it because of his ability to facilitate between the two factions at war with each other and his deep knowledge of men, of himself, American history and the inner workings of the poor white Southerns and Eastern European immigrants he grew up with in small town USA.  There were other things my father understood and studied in depth. His ability to work against the structure of Jim Crow holding an important Federal position was as important as his youngest brother, Noel's role as a union president in Illinois for a predominately white union during these times. Their skill levels exceed the whining and cowardice of our times that baits one against another. A lack of depth cannot fix a plumbing problem beneath a house. Desert tribes never learned to live on the desert pretending they lived on an oasis. The six nations of the Iroquois Confederacy did not cease endless warfare by polite talk, or dancing around the core of what ailed their souls. In like manner the problems created by white people that dominate this nation cannot be solved throwing another group into the mix to ask, plead and petition for acceptance and equality!

I dread returning to the States.

WE insist equality comes without balance and while shunning the basics of life mirroring the two primary energies we plead and play with the idea we can alter nature without consequences! Caught up in the language of a people who eat their brother and kill their grandchildren to feed their children the nation are Africans and the indigenous people of Turtle Island whose ancestors know the secrets of reconciliation, know the ceremonies that bring warring elements and people together to heal. But, that is unquestioned by the dominate culture whose language has become our language, our way of speaking to ourselves and each other.

Life is not sacred in the United States. There is pretense. There is denial. There is fear. There is division, but there is no commitment to truth in the deepest sense of the word because murder and taking from others are the dominant paradigms. Outside of this way of living in the world this nation fears reconciliation and cannot abide with the notion that there is the sanctity of the Female and Male, that masculinity and femininity are sacred states of being holding Creation together. From the Doctrine of Discovery to the present a dark spirit has grown from the European to the conquered nations, a dark sizzling evil has taken and returned nothing to the Truth of Life.

We have to find our voices. The voices of our ancestors hold more truth than the games we play pretending to be an advanced civilization.  Successful in convincing citizens to separate the whole into segments U.S. citizens are crippled. Entering a circle of any kind is frightening to the point the womb cannot be perceived as sacred in this country. With that source of power and revelation rendered invisible and irrelevant how does man reconcile with the feminine, or know it is an important act to reconcile and merge with the feminine? Without this knowing how do racial clashes cease, if the value of a Black man is measured and estimated from boyhood as a product with costs towards profit?

Sex sells and women are for sell, but the sacredness of a woman's essence is shit in American's estimation and reality. Given away, compromised and meagered out to people as non-essential the intangible powers of women's wombs have no value to the degree that men of science have decided they know how to create a woman from a man without that substance! Such a deep renunciation has gone by without alarm as the century moves deeper into consequences too complex for simpletons to grasp. Great evils can be justified in this energy. Many deaths occur in this train of belief that flies against what people say they really want out of their lives.

I dread returning to the United States. I really do. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 6.28.15

BULLIES

Power to question bullies

Gregory E. WoodsGUEST COLUMNIST

You have to question bullies. I am adamant about that. I saw how bullies were as a kid and as an adult I developed ways of dealing with bullies that vacillated between wisdom and brutality. The range between the two extremes are dependent upon the maturity of the other person. Bullies can be manipulated easily if you know what you are doing. They operate from a fear, or set of fears interwoven into bravado enabled by a group setting. There is something dense within all bullies that lends itself to humor. One can teach a victim how to deal with or eliminate a bully in front of a bully and the bully somehow misses the fact.

Nationally, bullying is the technique gay activists employ to get their agenda accepted as normal. It is fear-based, and mean to the point it inhibits love and acceptance in a natural way crouching millions into huddles afraid to voice opinions, or emotions outside of the prescribed script.

The question posed by an old celebrity from the original Star Trek series recently upset that Indiana’s governor signed the Religious Freedom Restoration Act into law devalues religious freedom. He wanted people to not do business with the state of Indiana until the gay community got its way. Would I join such a movement?

No. Would I join a movement to shut a whole state down because one group didn’t get their way in a political process? No, not when religious freedom is shunted to the side. The ripple effect would cripple millions of lives and destroy families, dreams and hopes of tomorrow.

‘Myopic view’

The myopic view and focus of the subject is a tell-tell sign of something deeply engraved in Western ideology. I am speaking from a long memory as an Indian. I hear my ancestors and remember the depth and complexity of the way the ‘Americans’ impeded the creative flow of life for us. This myopic approach has undermined our ways of life cleverly for the length of five centuries.
The subject of homosexuality from Europe and its influence over American subjects isn’t respected enough to become part of dialogues to help people’s understanding Western homosexuality.

Currently, logic and law are spearheading the movement. Bullying is the tactic that makes people afraid for their jobs and reputation and forces compliance. There are questions that are shot down in every public discussion of the subject. It is a fear based approach few have the courage to challenge because they have to keep their jobs and appear enlightened.

Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned? These are questions to hold and trust that they will lead to better understanding in a balanced way instead of bullying people into a posture.

an Understanding QUEST

I don't think this subject was handled well. Some good points were made, but it slid down a slope the way it will tend to because the line of questioning on the subject comes from a defensive place on both sides of the questions about homosexuality. Adopted or forced into an African religion (Christianity) that appears not as itself, but as a Western European production, and a tool towards a nefarious end has changed the Book, and allowed Native people to forget the spirit of their traditions, and sever the relationship each collective of people (tribes) cherished with the Earth they found themselves living upon until the rigidity of law, and judgement replaced balance.

Much favor leaned towards the Gay movement not over the right or the wrong of homosexuality, but on the merits of logic and law. Gay activists found out what Native leaders, who spoke for and fought for their People during the wars of the Americas, and what the African slaves, and freedom fighters eventually discovered, learned and employed. You could not appeal to the heart of the whites the way you could with your relatives. Most of the whites, it seemed to us, could not and did not become relatives, in their hearts, of the People. They were antagonistic, and were takers. The world did not look to them the way it looked to the People. Their eyes made it impossible to see the souls of the People, and understand where homosexuals in many (not all) of our tribes stood in our estimation. This discovery led to a readjustment of approach, and the social advancements of Red and Black movements were won on the merits of law, and logic at the highest level, the Supreme Court.

The Church has positioned itself in a dangerous position and relied on the advancement of time to ease the memories, and allow half truths to marinate in the thinking, and emotions of their followers. The Church does not and apparently cannot lead its followers to study what Jesus studied or know that Jesus was an initiated man, or how that came to be in place, and ignored by popular teaching. Conquerors used sex as a weapon. Rape and sodomy are two of the most damaging of tools employed in conquest, and the Church, the states of Europe, the Arabs employed these tactics. The spirit of the acts has run amok, and across the globe victims have been seeking validation from their churches and mosques and their synagogues and not been receiving it. They were judged, and judged harshly by the Books, the Holy Books.

Beyond, and before the entrance of the Europeans, whom we love to blame for things, the communities of people seeking solace from these ravages found tiny respite with others like them, and apparently did the most natural of things. They built communities. They had to because we are all social creatures in need of each other. We like to touch. We have to touch soul to soul. We need each other, and need to be understood, felt, and seen!

The Church is not set up to validate at the Christ-level, yet. The spirituality required of people to balance these elements, and other unmentioned parts of this complex story is not part of Belief, and thus not part of significant parts of the Church, the Mosque, or the Synagogue! But this level of spirituality and power is integral to Knowing. There is a stark and distinct difference in the timbre of spirits within a person immersed in Belief and one immersed in Knowing.

There are a few other things to bring into this equation, but I know from experience my last paragraph went too far away from what is considered Common Knowledge.

These are my words. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 5.8.13
