ON the surface.

A Columbus, Ohio doctor killed 27 hospital patients at Mount Carmel hospital administering lethal doses of Fentanyl to them. The allegations became public knowledge after a civil law suit was filed earlier this week. The hospital knew of this a month ago, fired the doctor, and removed 20 some employees because of these murders. The hospital apologized and said each of the patients were near death when they received the Fentanyl. This is how it was reported on ABC news early this morning.  As a corporation this should be the length of their obligations?

If a person killed 27 people would being released from his job be his outcome?... - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories (Jan. 16, 2019)

Becky WORLEY

Becky Worley, ABC correspondent & technology analysis !!!!

Becky Worley, ABC correspondent

I confess I am drawn to listen to ABC news in part because of your beauty, the way you speak with joy and surprise. These two attributes are refreshing in the morning. Unlike most personalities who love and enjoy technical development and inventions you express a child like sense of wonder that is infectionous. I don't know about your personal life, but I can assume you are a mother and wife by the care in your touch and the way you look at people.

This is my humble tribute to your commitment to excellence. I wish I had young children at home to sit with me in the morning to look closely at how you speak, how you respond to stimuli and engage an unseen audience. I used to do that with the CBS anchor Kathleen Sullivan in the 1980's. It was quite a discussion that came about with my girls after moments like this.
Anyway, they are grown now, on their own and doing well. What they learned from Ms. Sullivan and others including their mother and mine are imprinted within their core. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 12.14.15

Achievement is Balance

Anyone who has followed my writings knows how I appreciate women committed to excellence, photography, and the process of achievement. I listen intently to many people's stories with an ear attuned to the delicate arts that distinguished, or made people different than others in a variety of endeavors. Singular achievement is a group effort over a long period of time. No one pulls themselves up by their own boot straps. The only singular work one can claim as a one act drama is recreating the story that has been detrimental to one's life. . ." - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 12.01.15

journalist Lara Spencer !!!!
Captivated by their gender, their flair, beauty and skill sets women journalists in my generation have become very different from the Barbara Walters of the 1960's a serious contender in a white male dominated field. Barbara Walters, herself then and now a good looking woman, emphasized a highly informed mind and steely nerves to match any challenge to her opportunities in the news industry. This grit created a grounded sense of self rivaling the assumptions of women's power made by men making her an icon, a force to be reckoned with, and an elder.

Today, strikingly beautiful women with sharp journalistic skills, are scoring points in the glamour of news entertainment. Without them news is not news worthy. Many, myself included, would watch very little news entertainment in the morning or at night if we didn't have favorite crushes or admire the fashion and enjoy looking at the pretty legs of the women on TV news shows.  My confession is that Barbara Walters and Diane Sawyer are the toughest and most sensual of women on the air in the game for my tastes in excellence and appeal! - Gregory E. Glance into a Woman's Life: Soledad O'Brien

Facebook

journalist Soledad O'Brien
by Timothy Greenfield-Sanders
The journalist, Soledad O'Brien, has created a significant niche for herself focusing on a necessary craft: telling the stories of a people. She has a production company, Starfish Media Group. The company has mastered the craft of creating and selling documentaries to the networks. She is a heavy hitter with the major players. With HBO she has a deal to give this network first look at her productions, and with CNN she has an agreement to continue her series, "Black In America". There are many things she has done as a journalist and are doing that shift people's thinking and perceptions.

This month she signed a deal with HBO's "Real Sports" anchored by the brilliant man, Bryant Gumble. Her first story this month will be about war veterans using  the martial arts to cope with their war sickness. I use the original description of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder because it is honest, and does not distance a person, or the population from a condition with so much potential to spill into the everyday life of many people in an instance. - Gregory E.
