LIE to self before TRUTH to self.

Selfie, as a signature of the times...

"A woman cannot see herself taking her own picture. The camera was invented with the idea to capture the worlds outside of who we are, and to see what is around us reflecting who we are alive in the time appointed us. There is a deep sense of life not conveyed by self-absorption, or respected by the loss of discovery. Youth was made for discovery. Without it bitter things occur later in life..." - Gregory E. ✴“The Taoist principles of Chinese medicine view the pregnant woman as the spiritual, mental, and physical vessel of the child. 🕯 Through the primordial dance of the vital essence of two separate beings coming together with a mutual soul contract, a woman’s womb becomes a sacred repository, which receives these essences and alchemically transforms them into one, which grow to fruition within her. 💗 According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, the intrinsic role of the pregnant woman is to nourish and protect the growing being within her, who has come from spirit to be made of flesh and bone." ~ Sacred  Motherhood Blueprint October 15, 2018

[The] Glory Hole, as Cocoa Pink seems to interpret isn't a bad thing. Any man can stick his hard-n through a hole in bathroom stall, and she will (shall we say) pleasure him. Where does that leave her Being? Does her soul vanish? Does she become invisible in this world, this perception, and when she does where does she go within? Where does dignity and her sacredness hide? ~ Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 10/23/18

ELDER TALK: understanding

Introspection evolves around stillness the way stillness requires attentiveness to surface within a person learning to learn from themselves about the worlds within them. It isn't a revolutionary process; it is transformative within the quiet of Being.

"Who am I alive?" is a question to ask in these moments of knowing. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories [September 28, 2018]

WHEN WE AWAKEN. (2.)

"Some things are just average, other things are spellbinding!"

Dancing in a mint pirouette midi skirt from fall collection by Shabby Apple.
face of an older woman who has lived. when many awaken to old age they realize their bodies, and their faces tell stories; have told stories or is a reference for young women needing guidance. plastic surgery is fear, the mask of fear people pay for. afraid of death their angst is their denial, their denial a form of death hastening the process. fear of old age is a lack of power, and successfully keeps clarity a distance away from the substance that holds the sacred circle.

Quiet is stillness. There is movement in stillness. The Hunter is meditative in the stillness required. The perspective of those hunting is to listen to the calm in the air not altered by the fear from the hunted. These are subtle elements in the dangerous game played to remain in existence. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 12/22/18

Not every tool is needed in the enforcement of law. Pepper spray is not an essential tool protecting life, or restraining dark forces. Impeccability is the element and knowing subtle things about perception as power commands, and controls intent...

There is a profound teaching knowing how to control one's spirit. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories

The presence within Beauty is the soul seeing itself for what it is worth at the time. In deep moments of doubt Beauty grows into the places sorrowing for comfort in the places isolation, or indifference can place a soul, at times in one's lifetime.

"How will we die?" moments like this will ask sometimes. "How will we live after revived by Beauty?" is another question asked in stillness. On the other hand, or other side of the equation, Darth Vader's feminine side, may look like this. It is a profound thing to ponder. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 12/23/18

Merry XMAS

RIDDLE ME THIS:

There are a lot of academic things to say against and about this time of year. But, Life has its way of teaching youth, and over time youth becomes old enough to not shy away from aging. How is based upon acceptance. In old age wisdom places things in order simplifying what previously was baffling.

Getting old is part of a dance. It is not the same as dreading the process, or fearing death. Old age is the acquisition of power, the assembly of wisdom into a body of knowledge always at the ready as gifts. In a society disdainful of aging, and contemptuous of their insights this stage of Life is fraught with the most baffling of emotions: invisibility. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories [Dec. 24, 2018]

SEDUCTION

Simplicity is in its essence simple. The way some women wear it complicates the equation of boy meets girl, or woman catches the man's eye with an interesting question best answered within and alone. ~ Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories [12/24/18]

UNBELIEF in Young bloods, Not knowing.

Unbelief applies here looking deep into her eyes. The future is there. The possible resides within and from the core of her being is the promise of more to come. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories

Unbelief in the strength of women is founded on a concept of an overextended version of male superiority that suffers under the glare of our women, who know better. In the context of Black American history the strength of concepts from matrilineal societies hold Black families intact. Today, all the factors that debilitated the new Africans in the Americas were challenged by the old, strong traditions from the Land of the Blacks!...

I make this point because the power of this image brings this to the forefront. The strength Black American women have needs to be respected, understood, deciphered and held against the wisdom depths of our Ancestors, who understood in depths we, as a People, have long forgotten!... - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories

Sacrifice: blood story.

"The Parable of the Old Man and the Young" is a poem by Wilfred Owen that compares the ascent of Abraham to Mount Moriah and his near-sacrifice of Isaac there with the start of World War I. It had first been published by Siegfried Sassoon in 1920 with the title "The Parable of the Old Man and the Young", without the last line: "And half the seed of Europe, one by one". The poem is an allusion to a story in the Bible, Genesis 22:1-18.

The Parable of the Old Man and the Young

So Abram rose, and clave the wood, and went,
And took the fire with him, and a knife.
And as they sojourned both of them together,
Isaac the first-born spake and said, My Father,
Behold the preparations, fire and iron,
But where the lamb for this burnt-offering?
Then Abram bound the youth with belts and straps,
and builded parapets and trenches there,
And stretchèd forth the knife to slay his son.
When lo! an angel called him out of heaven,
Saying, Lay not thy hand upon the lad,
Neither do anything to him. Behold,
A ram, caught in a thicket by its horns;
Offer the Ram of Pride instead of him.

But the old man would not so, but slew his son,
And half the seed of Europe, one by one.
his poem is in the public domain.

Abstract within Common Knowledge

It is strange the illusions we swear by believing them to be truths.

Her face peers into changes. Don't know if perception is changed by the eyes I have, or the perception of form I can play with, or her face has the mysterious capacity to shift its beauty and its focus at will this way, or that! As a child, I found few faces, like Shyna Chung's, fashioned by shifting powers with their own design to command alteration of perception, the perception of beauty, and the penetrating capacity to be seen other ways by a shift in direction!

It was hard to explain as a child, and no easier grown up! But, power of compelling faces is none lessen by any disability to describe what I think I see, say I perceive, and want to see. Again, Mr. Dawson I love the subtly of your work! - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 9/21/17

Riddles in the Heart Songs

The Puritan ethic does not acknowledge the legitimacy of the type of men with the full capacity to hold two families together lovingly from a deep capacity to understand how! These men have to live deceptively, for the most part. The argument for this type of lifestyle is just that: an argument! The understanding of this tendency is from a worldwide history...

Heartbroken mother reveals how her marriage collapsed

by Natalie Corner For Mailonline

A mother-to-twins has revealed how she discovered that her husband had been living a double lifeafter finding his secret Father's Day card from his love child.
Belinda, from Australia, was left heartbroken when she discovered the card from 'Nate' stashed away in a book on her husband Eddie's nightstand.
Confronting Eddie, Belinda soon learned Nate was in fact Eddie's son with his partner of ten years, Natasha, and that she was the 'other woman'.
Recalling the bombshell that ended their marriage to Whimn Belinda explained how she may never had discovered the truth had she not found the book.
'I found it, tucked into the pages of a novel in the drawer: a Father's Day card, written in blue text in a child’s scrawl: "To Daddy, happy Father's Day, love from Nate".'
Belinda told of how she met Eddie on a dating app and quickly fell in love getting married a year later.
Eddie had a high-pressure job in the oil industry which meant he was away for eight days at a time then home for six days, which Belinda was happy with.
She compared their relationship to a 'holiday romance' and said they never tired of one another and hardly argued.
After she had their two daughters, Belinda said she found life difficult without Eddie around and he even offered to quit his job and find something local.
Belinda told him not to and their life continued for another two years but then she was forced to confront her husband after finding the card.
But when she asked who 'Nate' was Belinda recalled his quick confession, explaining that he had another family in another city who he visited when he was supposed to be working.
She continued: 'The most horrible idea I’d been able to come up with was that he had had an affair and was hiding a love child from me, but it was much worse than that. It turned out I was the affair.'
Eddie explained to Belinda how he had been with Natasha for over a decade and managed to juggle both family lives using his job as a cover.
The mother-of-two said she begged him to stay at the house they had bought together but he decided to leave and return back to Natasha.
Though Belinda is attempting to move on, she did inform Natasha of Eddie's infidelity, and Natasha is understood to have now left him too.

the Complexity of Stories

the innocence of Miler Miya by Pierre Granger.
The model is Ukrainian and the photographer's page is Kapturphoto.

This image of Miler Miya is a sensitive portrayal of a wondrous thing: the embryonic stage of womanhood! The question to follow is found in how this stage is seen, appreciated, understood, probed, and valued. How it is devalued begins with projection into beliefs one carries from the fundamental contempt for the female principle embedded in Western ideology! Freedom begins acknowledging the origin of the lie, and in this case; this evil's indwelling presence within the falsehood of unbalanced humanity, a disrespected essence, and a disembodied integrity..." - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 4/9/18

The Desire of Want is a thought. The thought of a developed Black American woman is a genesis, an awakening. A wise woman's thoughts are above the expectations of adolescence. Listen. - Gregory E. Woods, (Dawn Wolf), Keeper of Stories 4/9/18

Music of a woman's soul is gently heard.

"Bathing in a river. It is the most natural cleansing from birth throughout one's life. White men's non-belief in the sanctity of the Female, and her essence spoiled water. Water became commodity, and the focus of wars to come..." -  Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories
