Sarah Palin in Purchase NY in 2009
Sarah Palin brings to the fore a major contradiction in America's intellectual culture. There is an insistence on the reinstatement of mediocrity, and the disregard for profound historical introspection is fundamental to a large segment of American society. I like Sarah Palin. She is gorgeous and easy on the eyes but we cannot be swayed by beauty. We need to establish an intellectual, and spiritual stance indicative of a super power responsible for more than conquest. -_Gregory E. Woods
