TERROR

Let us be clear about what happened September 11th in 2001. For a long time we (the USA) were actively involved in the Middle East. We had been attracting, courting and training radical Islamic fundamentalists now called insurgents, people who rise in revolt. We have a long history of taking down and setting up governments. President Hussein was once our man. Our Secretary of Defense, as I recall, toted him as one of the great leaders of the 20th century. What he did to his people was reported in the American press. As a nation we didn’t care.

Our relationship with Saudi Arabia and the Bin Laden family is a well known one. And the depth of it was demonstrated when the White House commandeered all of Bin Laden’s family out of the United States to safety while every flying craft in the US was earthbound. The one question that will lead us to understand is standing to the side unanswered! It will tell us the other reason we veered purposely away from Bin Laden, and went to Saddam Hussein.

Our history and our foreign policy is a gingerbread path to the eventuality of retribution by any one country oppressed by us. It is natural law and we, in all of our power, cannot side-step Law. Truth does not need our belief to be truth. What we believe, and what we have done to people was powerful enough to create the impeccability within insurgents to move, within themselves, to a place where they could face their deaths without fears and execute any plan. Who, in their right mind, wants to face the truths within such an enemy, or within themselves? We enjoy our comforts too much and the myths that we tell entertain us, convincingly, that anyone we pushed to such a point of retribution is a coward.
