Chinese vegan chef Ori Ann Li

Ori Ann Li, vegan chef

Ori Ann loves and understands food, but she didn't think about becoming a chef until she went vegan. She was formerly a broadcast journalist and college instructor with a master’s degree in Theater. She taught drama and film studies at a private college and was encouraged by professionals to pursue a film career. She also felt the calling to become a writer and art historian to honor her grandfather. However, she was introduced to veganism at a pivotal moment of her life which led to a dramatic change in her career path. After co-hosting a popular vegan cooking segment on network affiliated television for 3 years, she went abroad to study cuisines and culinary arts and launched her own cooking show recently featuring world vegan cuisines. Chef Ori Ann Li attended culinary schools in Europe and North America. She studied at the famed French culinary arts institute Le Cordon Bleu at its Paris and Ottawa campuses, took courses from Natural Gourmet Institute in New York City and received chef’s training at a well established vegetarian cooking school in England. She has travelled to 13 countries and 33 cities to study ethnic cuisines.

As a dedicated chef, she enjoys introducing to her readers and viewers new ways to eat healthy and delicious and hopes to bring them the best of vegan cooking and lifestyle for years to come...
