The study, acceptance, and understanding of the Goddess have not necessarily evolved. It has changed. In diminished capacity she, the Goddess, has been trivialized to imply sex, and sexual opportunity. Western Christianity has denied her existence so long women struggle with the notion of sexuality, power, divinity, beauty and spiritual power as one whole entity, or force of Nature. It has led to enormous upheaval. Daughters ill-equipped for the enormous energies of Womanhood make horrible mistakes and decisions. Without the advantages of ceremonies and rituals that bound and connect them to the vital energies of Water, their Wombs, and the Earth, our Mother this triangular relationship learns to live the way Kabbalah has learned to live amongst the mundane throughout the ages. - Gregory E.
