A Grandfather's words...

Samyra Gellatly-De La Torrezz

There. I see it in your face. I've seen it in my own daughter's faces. Right there within women who've been cherished when it was crucial to be cherished, and loved is an aspect of themselves akin to porcelain, or crystal that is very still within them during the rigors of a busy day in the world of work. It is important for it to be still because modern life prefers shows of strength and boldness. Appearing strong doesn't include the wonderful feeling and the knowing of self that accompanies being cherished. That is a gift without a price purposed for the special moments and the sacred times of sharing within sacred space. - Gregory E. Woods, 1.19.14
