Woman, see yourself?

If I was a photograph would you see the ‘art’?
Or the body parts of a common tart?

Would you have the nerve to curse my curves?
Get on my last nerve and cause my hurt?...

Now that I’m a cartoon, we sing the same
Tune…a fact of which I’m not immune

Art is a craft carved from the heart
Derived from God’s creative start

Porn is a pawn of Satan born to bring to
Man a darker dawn

Haters gotta hate that I appreciate but
Men gotta mate and I gotta stimulate

But I am not a Facebook whore…who
Drops her draws for men galore

I am the imagination’s paint so
Please do not my body taint…

"Mr. Charles, your insight in words says a lot I appreciate and dig. I get into the way you sing songs into a younger mind's consciousness without judging, but clarifying for the less thoughtful and articulate who they are with a glance towards who they might become." - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 4.29.15
