Glimpse the Depths

"Ancient Egyptian influence appears unconsciously in the art, and later in the spiritual arts practiced by descendants of that legacy. When it shows up it is something to incorporate into the core, and it is oft' not recognized for its potency." - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories [June 01, 2017]

"I am American as far as my thinking about what patriotism means in the context of being African and American. I am not white and the flag therefore signifies the cross of the Klan, and the killing of my people." is how I often interpret Black American's conceptual relationship to loyalty to the country, not allegiance in the way that white citizens insist upon us adapting into our lexicon. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories June 01, 2017

Ideal body shape Brittnee Blair has to mold into a temple for higher energies. It is the option within each woman. Becoming one's sacred self is a choice. Is This Lust
- Dawn Wolf, Keeper of Stories 6.1.17

Mysterious women like a Lady in red cloak, like other women who intrigue the spirit of men unknown to them feel all the vibrations from men who want them, despise them, understand them; who feel their contradictory feelings swirling within reacting to the predator spirit of men's spirits itching to remove the hood, raise the gown, and have their visual, or their way. Even though the hood veils and veils conceal they cannot add to the comfort of seclusion with the chance of exposure a mere movement away. Such women need to be centered in their strengths to feel their strength, and the strength of their Sacred Powers.

Far from the fantasy the women's liberation movement left as residue from the protests and political gains are the open prairies, the dark city alleys, women's homes, their places of work, and churches where rape is easily applied as a tool of subjection of their spirits, and their hope of  being whole is the sound of wailing, of terror unspeakable. Taking advantage of the technology of mass communication, it is easy to make the case that women's advancements are secure and to disarm women's gains through perception. Technical advancements do not come with maturity or impeccability of emotions and spirit; nor do they erase the old rhythms renouncing women's strengths and powers.

To this day, conservatism is more powerful than the women's movement. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories [June 02, 2017]

Audrey Bradford.
"Is this lust?" one should ask navigating through
the rush of emotions
seeing her undressed thus.
- Dawn Wolf, Keeper of Stories

"Is this lust?" is a legitimate question whose meanings are determined by nuance. The priest craft of manhood ask the question of a man of knowing, not to gauge, but to navigate the enormous spheres of sexual energies from within, and outside of one's control, and all about the bounty of meaning exchanged by a look, a naked body in an intimate setting...

This old story has its nuances the crude spirit will never discern. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 6/2/17
