Laura Soares in solitude

"There are many things to do in the moment and there are no lack of things to do. According to natural law one cannot help but do something in each moment. Many moments when asked we will and have said, "Nothing." when asked, "What are you doing?" A question to that is "How will you know when you have finished doing nothing?" The answer to this question is a revelation and often times a shock to a system of thought. It sheds light on who we are and how we are perceiving the world-at-large and within. . ."  - Gregory E. "That woman is a success...
Who loves life and lives it to the fullest;
Who has discovered and shared the strengths and talents that are uniquely her own;
Who puts her best in each task and leaves each situation better then she found it;
Who seeks and finds that which is beautiful in all people ... and all things; whose heart is full of love and warm with compassion;
Who has found joy in living and peace within herself." - Laura Soares, Brazilian model

A working woman. The connotation is a whore, a prostitute working the streets.

A working man. The connotation is a hard working man at construction, physical laborer working hard to put food on his family's table. In Jesus' time present day lay persons and clergy cannot accord Mary Magdalene her womanhood. She cannot be a friend to Jesus, or a peer. She is considered a whore. Why? What lives in these assessments? - Gregory E. Woods 10.15.14

The EAGLE Flies...

Eagle
November 14, 2012

Assumptions are made about beautiful women based on fantasy, envy, and hope for a good lay. Millions of women and men from African-Latin cultures, like Africans from the homeland, hold true to their indigenous roots in spiritual realms. This woman, Laura Soares, is popular in her country, and as a personality and a beauty the depth of her comes unbidden to the surface in an admission.

Last November she slipped into her online portfolio a picture of an eagle swooping down upon the face of water on the hunt. As a caption she said, "Celebrating the Eagle, seeking deeper connection with my animal spirit." She added three words to that for reasons you can intuit: Spirit, Healing, Creation. ~ Gregory E. Seven Triggers

The Brazilian television personality, Laura Soares, said according to Sally Hogshead there are seven triggers of fascination, and we are always led by two.

 What are you led by?

"There are many questions living gives to us. What do we do with ourselves? Am I where I need to be? Who am I alive? Where is the life journey taking me? What am I giving into? Was that wise? Is there more to me, if so what? All kinds of things come at us."

Yesterevening, I met a smartly and distinctly dressed Black man sporting a black beret, and a vintage ensemble of his own making, and elegant manners. He was poise almost in a suggestive feminine manner, but making no expression of sexual preference, only a sense of knowing who he was and where he stood in life. I excused myself from the conversation I was in in the church basement, and approached him, greeting him in French with a question. He looked at me coolly, with confidence and tried to respond in kind. I made a brief appraisal of his wardrobe to him that he confirmed with a nod of his head, and our conversation fell into one about the arts, and performance and purpose.

His name was Frank. He was at the church to sing and rap in a performance in the sanctuary upstairs. He was interested in the children running around in the basement I was looking after. The young man had an interesting background in his young life that included two years of public education teaching performing arts under the strict cold guidelines of the Washington DC public school system that are not compatible with a child's creativity, and their natural ways of learning and processing stimuli. It was an awful struggle he faced with his best efforts, but the harshness of the system shortened his desire to teach in that arena.

The most interesting thing about Frank was his wisdom about education. Frank said, "I went through school with purpose. I know who I am. I was in school only to enhance what I had, and to sharpen it." He went on to explain the average student's problem in school was going through school not knowing their purpose. It explained the switching of majors in college, the irresponsible partying and so on.

His plan in school was to sharpen his skills, graduate and immediately do what he was doing at the church.

Why was he born? To develop an art for families to better raise and develop their children through sound, movement and the spoken word. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 2.20.14

17-Year Old Steals $39,000 From Walmart

article by Dr. Sinclair Grey III

This is sad, but very funny. Off the bat , I know he is a good looking white boy. What he did was obvious, and simple because he took advantage of the assumptions of supremacy. At 17 he already internalized the deep sense of his white supremacy and the supremacy of being a white male.  It is tool to a thinking white person that will work for the good or the bad outcome.

I burst out laughing for awhile reading this story. As is said in the streets, "That's some funny shit." Couldn't help it because those presumptions are deeply ingrained in the minds of white Americans and other Americans, too! From the top government agencies down to the rank and file that ploy is more likely than not going to work on most people.

I thought about the white men who tricked the CIA and hurt National Security in exactly the same way. It goes back to the adage I grew up hearing from all sides, "White is right..." and other familiar phrases along the same lines.

I remember a white man who worked in the same building as I, who came to work one day baffled because he tried to pursue a Black man in an expensive suit, who was lifting people's purses and wallets. The Black thief's trick was the illusion of style and the manipulation of image! My white friend was miffed and befuddled because the police took him down to the ground because the assumption was a Black man in an expensive tailored suit chased by a white man in jeans had to be protected.

It is a game played knowing full well that whomever controls the images controls the mind, and whoever controls the mind has nothing to fear from the body. I learned this in college from a rich white man who admired my fearless pursuit of knowledge about the assumptions of white supremacy. I've had quite a life and today quite a laugh. - Gregory E.
