Black Tape Project.

Black Tape Project. Andrea Cohen.

Beautiful women, who command are more easily misunderstood as being powerful because drawing attention to themselves by the force of their essence can be disguised as vanity, or self-absorption by any number of men, unable to see beyond need, or lust. It is distracting the illusion of Beauty, but enforced as a presence in the Medicine teachings; it becomes a tool, a shield, and a weapon!...

There is more, but this medium typically is over-populated by undeveloped people foreign to the esoteric or the way of the Warrioress distinct from the Warrior's Way. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 5/9/18

"Is this lust?" is such a fundamental question a boy needs have an Elder ask of him before and during his initiation into manhood. Sadly, not enough boys are initiated into manhood in Western societies. Ass and Envy: a story.

model Tudosic's lines captured by photographer, Danny Lavega

Exaggerating the body lines and the bottom for white women is an historical piece. To unravel history is to unveil the secrets hidden from ourselves.

It was common knowledge the initial reaction and the long impact of Africa and African women upon the esteem of European women many centuries ago. Fully understanding these things we would understand how close we are to seeing mirrors within ourselves to see what we fear, lack and long for.

It is a great thing to know why we do what we do and admire and long for in each sphere of our lives.

Poetry.

Rosa Brighid shooting for her website, OfficalRosa.com January 2017.

Poetry has her way of appearing. She as a form of art knows a thing or two about being elusive, vague and meaningful with but a few words, or cumbersome with many things to say. Poetry as an art form creates around the style of expression one can see, one can read, one can perceive, and one can know in one's soul by her presence, her beauty and the way she stands in time.

Once a girl, now a woman.

"If you must insist on improving the quality of life improve yours." - Dawn Wolf, Keeper of Stories
Rosa Brighid by Danny Desantos early in January wearing a harness by Malice Lingerie.

Early on little girls like to imitate and later emulate women whose sense of fashion is an essence, a being true to themselves that creates an atmosphere around them. It is elusive so it is mysterious. The woman who is not a lady, yet is still a woman can become many things, or embody the deeper treasures and become a Sacred Woman. It is the lady whose mystique is a quality girls can perceive, but cannot articulate until later in their lives, who hopes they become ladies because she can help them become ladies!

The Little Girl, the Woman, the Lady, the Sacred Woman are moving entities within the soul of the Feminine. Without them women are just bodies, les carapace; and Art is lost.

A M E N !

We see more of ourselves looking at what is beautiful the way it (an object), she (a woman) engages our senses. Amen is said to the surprise of soul discovering itself. Seeing what we can do with ourselves is its own beauty. Amen is said from a tradition of reverence in a child's spirit appreciating what is beyond immediate grasp! Amen is said in the first gasp for breath seeing a woman's body that may or may not be given to a man. It is not just want it is presence that says, "Amen" to the Creator for creating the forms we need to see, be within and explore for identity in the essence of the female form. As men it is Amen to the strength women build within us! - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 2/6/16

Men's thoughts evoked by her...

Jordan Carver the morning of February 21, 2016 as poetry ...

Dear Woman,
Sometimes you’ll just be too much woman.
Too smart,
Too beautiful,
Too strong....
Too much of something that makes a man feel like less of a man,
Which will make you feel like you have to be less of a woman.
The biggest mistake you can make
Is removing jewels from your crown
To make it easier for a man to carry.
When this happens, I need you to understand
You do not need a smaller crown 👑
You need a man with bigger hands. #quoteoftheday

David Hartley It's true, that you, women, are beautiful in all the ways that man is not. You are glamorous and stunning while he is humble and hard working. Two sides of the same coin....the real question is not if he is man enough for you but rather can you love him for all of things he is not and find value in the everyday and mundane tasks that allows your spirit to run free?

Jesus David Garcia Villada Not want to be imprudent, but do not tell me you're there after a great performance... But really I do not understand what your point. Sometimes you'll just be too much woman...? I understand, you are besutiful, yes; is you strong, yes. But?

Simplicity is She

A body simply attired is a poem, a haiku poem. A woman's body is her story. When it is a man's story is it honestly connected to the higher aspect of manhood, or the lower demonstration of crudeness? - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 2.6.16

This is Sacred: lovers naked embrace

body of perfection of an older woman

Many women don't know this but great sources of pride arise in husbands and fathers who know their women's weight gain is connected and linked to their relationship with their woman. Her body (like his) makes promises to the other, and the birth of a child signifies something holy and unattainable by others outside their paradigms or shifts in the powers of their body's spirit, and their shared spiritual bond. It is significant weight gain after birth, during marriage and alongside the evolving of a relationship between a man and his woman that lends something solid and intangible to the way a man lovingly regards his wife in public and watches her naked around the house. No one knows their secrets or what it means to walk with a woman who has given so much while trusting in your ability to protect her, be a man to her and love her with every bit of the lust, the need for her, and the desire to lust after her that leads him back into her bed again and again and again! Gained weight is an accumulation of powers, and properly done in a sacred manner the body's shape becomes the sacred within women and the man who is man to her.

I know and recognize the run from weight gain currently popular but women in this league, more succinctly this mindset, found the language and sound of the 'sacred feminine' foreign, offensive, elusive and menacing if they peek into what it is to care for their wombs, as the care for their souls. Such depth goes against the cultural grain and understandably so. Western history reeks of what white men did to their women who ventured into the sacred powers of womanhood. They killed them after torture and ridicule! - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 10.16.14

Telling a Story

Elizabeth Banks sporting a yellow mini skirt !!!!

Several assumptions are made about beautiful women sighted on any street. White women inspire certain thoughts and reactions. Black women, African women, Thai, and French women inspire other reactions and assumptions followed as faithfully as a loyal pup on the heels of the presence of any of these women. But, famous women in the arts secure a special place in the spheres of perception, and Elizabeth Banks, an actress, is no different if not special because fundamentally she is a 'regular' woman enhanced by honest portrayals of characters that touch people's sensibilities placing a sense of a connection between their lives portrayed on the big screen for a kind, silent validation.

I found a series of pictures with Elizabeth Banks in a yellow mini skirt with purple and indigo heels bare legged with dirt on a knee in a drama about a bicycle she eventually rode. What could she have possibly been doing? What was the story? What was she thinking with her arms crossed, her brow furrowed in concern, or was she angry, or anxious about the delivery of her bicycle? I don't know. Without a byline one could speculate, or do as I will do make up a story. Or just go see the movie she was wearing a yellow dress! - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories (2015)

NO Respect for AGE

Barbara Streisand's first Instagram snap is dishonest. In disappointment and outrage I cannot look into her otherwise magical and introspective beauty she has had most of her life. The photographer erased her lines, the things that distinguish her face, add intelligence to her poise, and creates the depth of beauty she earned in her lifetime. You look at this photograph and you don't see the singer. You see someone's thought process, and detachment. What lacks within is shown in the art of plastic surgery, and photography and fashion.

What kind of young adults will the next generation have growing up with distortions and illusions of the natural world they know little of by touch and experience? What we create that deceives the basic tenets of our mysterious lives on this planet occurred with technology of thought too lazy to plunge deep into existence.

Barbara Hershey in Boxcar Bertha created a memorable character. Plain and honest in her portrayal in the time period of this story Barbara Hershey caught an essence lost to time within her acting. Natural living as well as natural beauty changes as life is lived. The essential part of beauty and aging is age. Today's women engulfed in fear miss this. The natural process of maturity marred by insistence upon acceptance has created some ugly faces others are too afraid to admit are ugly. When science meets women to solve problems or unravel riddles of feminine mystique it is always tainted by the history of and between white men and white women, and it is an ugly history.

Looking into the older beauty of Rozie at home caught my mind into thinking about the possibilities of longevity when evidence of age sensuously merges with beauty of face and the elegance of lines and slopes over a body that has seen time, known itself, birthed, been rejected, renewed, rediscovered, and treasured and adored. Adoration, and being cherished add luster polishing the eyes along with the things we value as our life's work and precious value. You don't need fame to be wonderful. And photographers don't need to tell someone else's story to convey ours. That is a testimony that reflects better into the scope, or range of complexity in the human weaving of independence, interdependence and dependency. This weaving can intellectually tell as well as our bodies, our eyes, and most significantly our spirit who we are and who we aren't.

We are those spiritual beings stories were told around night fires later to be written about as legends, and creation stories. Without conscious memory of how that was our bodies carrying our memories cover the bones that hold the deep and ancient stories our blood knows. Of the two primal energies God created the female's story of blood. Her blood and restorative properties remembers and reaches into the deep Earth.

Men spill blood. Women release blood. If we can't hear blood stories we can't hear the necessity of learning to listen as a man to our women's blood and water, and our women will not be able to hear their blood telling them of the deeper things Mary felt carrying Jesus, or Isis felt in her time, what stirred within White Buffalo Calf Woman performing her duties, or what Esther knew that kept her allegiance with her mother-in-law, or what made Hillary Clinton stay with her husband, and Harriet Tubman kill to people to get North to freedom.

These are mysteries. Respect them with your eye and with your heart. Live them. They are in you.
