TESIA LOVE, nutritionist, gardener, priestess over food

"To turn on television, or go to a website and find an expert on food who is African-American is exciting. It removes the image of white folks in relation to food as experts, the experts!  There are many people, myself included, who associated food with the sacred, brown and black skin, mothering, comfort, intense work, and rythmns. Tesia Love is one such woman in the mix of a tradition African folk have taken for granted for centuries.  This is an African experience."

  1. The beauty of Tesias smile and the glow of her skin all points to a right relationship with food medicine. Food, like most things nowadays, has become distorted in so many ways. The majority of the U.S. population has become obese and sick because of the misuse of food. Getting back into balance with our relationship with food, and honoring it as the medicine that it is, will not only heal our bodies it will heal the planet.

  2. The next revolution is a food revolution. Too often food or the absence of food has been used as a weapon.
