Great love

Do The Right Thing
By Dr. Sinclair Grey III

November 10, 2015

Sadly, shamefully, and sinfully, there are many people in the world taking God and His mercy for granted. Let me say it this way. When God provides opportunities for repentance to get one's life right to do the right thing, there's a tendency to make excuses and say, 'I'm not ready at this moment.' Can I drop this in your spirit? Statements and declarations that delay change are tricks of the enemy. God loves you too much for you to provide excuses. As a matter of fact, there's a poem entitled Excuses which says, “Excuses are tools of incompetence which builds monuments of nothingness and those who specialize in using them, seldom amount to anything in life.”

The writer of Proverbs penned the words, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, but in all your ways, acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.” Please don't miss this. The more you love God, the more you're committed to doing what's right. Here's the Sinclair remix. The greater your love and appreciation for all the LORD has done and continues to do for you, the more you strive not to mess up. From this day forward, I urge you and implore you to not take God's mercy for granted. Be real about God because He's real about you.
