Elegant Anywhere

"To hold an image, a woman, an idea of self is a caress. The dream of doing such a thing is being that thing you see yourself doing and becoming. It is all touch. You touch a moment. You touch a body. You touch a soul and stir life. You touch upon an idea. You become someone. You open yourself to touch and ideas and possibilities. It is all the magic we are engaged in that spoils the idea of cannot." ~ Gregory E. Woods 12.6.13

elegant white woman in front of elephants (2013) by Richard Avedon from his Women exhibit at Gagosian Gallery.

I had to capture the image of an elegant white woman in front of elephants chained to the floor. She is making a sweeping gesture as if she is there and present somehow. I found this in the photo albums of Koral Los Angeles. on November 22, 2013
