Knowing God in the Feminine

If God has both femininity and masculinity, what about the times when God, in the feminine, wants to express Her Subjectivity? I've been wanting for a long, long time to discuss this. Now, I expect women will be very excited and more then keen to look at authority, their authority. I also expect that when they pray and liaise with God, in either gender format, they'll have differing, or potentially different questions, questions of God. I am more... comfortable to answer them if I know they know I have Femininity, and they won't be ratted out, crucified or scorned, but would flow in endless and even blissfully positive directions.

It is important for women to look at why God deferred certain action, why that action is favorable, feminine and productive, why patience is necessary, not just a virtue. So, all in all, the hope is to give, give love; and, for this I deferred giving things I have within Myself. Our legacy yearned for freedom but no freedom is secure without the freedom of God in both genders. For example, or case in point: Why didn't the Bible outline Jesus as referring to his discussions with his, or His, Divine Mother? Did he have the discussions and yet, the Bible leaves them out? Or, did he not have them?


As a percentage of understanding, very few human beings understand or have come to know God in the Feminine. It is very, very sad. Even so, the Deferral of God, in the Feminine, and also in the Masculine, as a Father who also with a Mother want the best for Her/His Children. The Good News is we can talk about the process, what has been deferred, meaning specific topics and unlock the past, free people and engage, knowing that God will continually educate, like all parents, to love their children through time, experience, and placement.

NO Respect for AGE

Barbara Streisand's first Instagram snap is dishonest. In disappointment and outrage I cannot look into her otherwise magical and introspective beauty she has had most of her life. The photographer erased her lines, the things that distinguish her face, add intelligence to her poise, and creates the depth of beauty she earned in her lifetime. You look at this photograph and you don't see the singer. You see someone's thought process, and detachment. What lacks within is shown in the art of plastic surgery, and photography and fashion. 

What kind of young adults will the next generation have growing up with distortions and illusions of the natural world they know little of by touch and experience? What we create that deceives the basic tenets of our mysterious lives on this planet occurred with technology of thought too lazy to plunge deep into existence. 

Barbara Hershey in Boxcar Bertha created a memorable character. Plain and honest in her portrayal in the time period of this story Barbara Hershey caught an essence lost to time within her acting. Natural living as well as natural beauty changes as life is lived. The essential part of beauty and aging is age. Today's women engulfed in fear miss this. The natural process of maturity marred by insistence upon acceptance has created some ugly faces others are too afraid to admit are ugly. When science meets women to solve problems or unravel riddles of feminine mystique it is always tainted by the history of and between white men and white women, and it is an ugly history. 

Looking into the older beauty of Rozie at home caught my mind into thinking about the possibilities of longevity when evidence of age sensuously merges with beauty of face and the elegance of lines and slopes over a body that has seen time, known itself, birthed, been rejected, renewed, rediscovered, and treasured and adored. Adoration, and being cherished add luster polishing the eyes along with the things we value as our life's work and precious value. You don't need fame to be wonderful. And photographers don't need to tell someone else's story to convey ours. That is a testimony that reflects better into the scope, or range of complexity in the human weaving of independence, interdependence and dependency. This weaving can intellectually tell as well as our bodies, our eyes, and most significantly our spirit who we are and who we aren't. 

We are those spiritual beings stories were told around night fires later to be written about as legends, and creation stories. Without conscious memory of how that was our bodies carrying our memories cover the bones that hold the deep and ancient stories our blood knows. Of the two primal energies God created the female's story of blood. Her blood and restorative properties remembers and reaches into the deep Earth. 

Men spill blood. Women release blood. If we can't hear blood stories we can't hear the necessity of learning to listen as a man to our women's blood and water, and our women will not be able to hear their blood telling them of the deeper things Mary felt carrying Jesus, or Isis felt in her time, what stirred within White Buffalo Calf Woman performing her duties, or what Esther knew that kept her allegiance with her mother-in-law, or what made Hillary Clinton stay with her husband, and Harriet Tubman kill to people to get North to freedom. 

These are mysteries. Respect them with your eye and with your heart. Live them. They are in you.

LEGACY TO DAUGHTERS

When is it 'bad' for daughters to be like their mothers? When is it good and rewarding when the daughter's life is a mirror of her mothers? Both questions are long roads around the central theme of most dialogues weighing in on the legacy of Raquel Welch's life when her daughter posed for Playboy as a young woman!


First, Playboy is an achievement for writers, photographers, fashion icons and models. Its founder is important to America's intellectual advancements in race relations, sexual rights, the women's movement, and the Civil Rights movement and also Playboy's founder, Hugh Hefner has stirred the nation to answer and dare the questions that challenged American's contradictions and challenges around sex, sexuality and sexual freedom and expression from its inception in the 1950's forward to the present day. With this backdrop how do we teach our daughters to be women?

There are a lot of thoughts stirred in me when I catch glimpses of the lives led by Vietnamese people living in the United States. I think of the Vietnam war, its contradictions, the tragedies, the needless deaths, and the lives the US government is morally bound to take care in the aftermath of that war. By now it is the children of the Vietnamese men and women whose memories of the war are fresh living the American life. Those Vietnamese's children are now Americans and what that means is not a national topic, but it is of interest to me. As is the nature of children children try to fit in, and Vietnamese-American children are not different in that respect. So, how are they living? What is their mindset? 

I often want to be privy to the discussions these young people have with their parents and their peers. Many of them don't speak their mother tongue, or know enough of their family history one could assume. I don't know. I am reaching. How do they fare in American towns and cities? What compromises were made to go to school, to make a living and get along with white and Black Americans. 

There is the above picture of a Michelle Suy-Sam , who is the girlfriend of Theien Thy Huynh Nguy, squatting in front of her lover's sports car. Theien Thy Huynh Nguy (pictured below) was born in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. Today she lives and works in California in retail, and has a side business in diet pills. She apparently lives comfortable. She is deep in the glamour of being an American woman with all the frills and perks. But, how is she living, and culturally how does she manage? Is she deeply invested in the white girl thing? I say that because that aspiration (being white) leads second and third generations of immigrants that way because American culture awards white women handsomely, and shits upon the images of Black women without looking back. Given a choice in American society being as close to white as possible is encouraged until a rude awakening occurs. I'd love to know more about these things. I am just curious about their coping mechanisms. 

I stood next to a frightened woman, who was obviously mixed Black American and Vietnamese, once in Washington DC. I know she was a social outcast. I've met a couple of Hmong men, and learned their stories. Last night I saw a fun interview on The TALK. The Chinese action star and director, Charlie Chan, his father, at 80 years of age, admitted to him he was a spy, that Charlie's family name is Fong, and the reason his father was an embassy cook in parts of the world was because he was in hiding!

There are a lot of things the various cultures of the Asian communities experience and deal with they keep out of the public forum, and gossip columns  How they've succeeded I don't know, and won't venture to guess. But, it is admirable and worthy of consideration. I firmly believe Black American's tactics for cultural liberation, and economic independence are based upon ideological falsehood. I am convinced we need to study the Japanese in depth to grasp what they did since the bombing we inflicted upon them in World War II. Our focus is wrong and off-center. Ideally, it would sound great and logical to frame our strategies and thinking on ancient African civilizations, but in reality we, Black Americans, are fixated upon identifying with White Americans. Our identity is centered upon their approval, and the journey from the slave mentality is not finished. As White Black People (Wasicun Sapa) we have to be transformed by a renewing of our minds. The fortitude of the Asian communities in our midst needs to be studied from the embrace of relationship and cooperation because the Black American community is rich in attributes that can benefit anyone keen of intellect and integrity.

False Face masks of the Iroquois are a far cry from the false face today's photographers, models and women prefer to see looking at women's images! The latter is a cry, or something from an angst a man cannot fix. Because American popular culture relies on the surface of subjects for sustenance the spiritual tradition of those six nations of the Iroquois are too deep in symbolism and power for the mundane to see, grasp or embrace with understanding.

 

What does a woman have to hide? Why must a photographer hide a woman's story in her face? Is it to falsify identity or render her eyes vacant, or is the technique meant to devalue what the eyes can convey to the soul? What does it profit an industry to create the illusions women learn to submit themselves to? How does it all govern a woman? How far will it all lead a woman away from the sacred of her being in these times of 'man-made women' who think they can become or are women? If women cannot embrace and comprehend the essence and depth of womanhood and unable to fathom the sacredness of their being should men like Bruce Jenner claim that for their purpose in life?
