“Palin challenges the core of a value system that produced her and detests her. The best response to her is to listen to what she is not saying, and is saying with the highest intelligence. Without emotional maturity nothing will ever be gained. Sarah Palin has a good chance of winning elections for the same reasons former President G. W. Bush won his election, and was selected into office in 2000.
Americans are fond of division, war, and arguments, and are fond of shooting themselves in the foot. The deep reflections upon our history, and the prerequisite working knowledge of math and law are expertly taught out of average Americans. Thus intellectually crippled, and emotionally strapped into a homespun noose Americans have been unable to grapple with the fundamental issues of our foreign policies, the slave trade’s legacy, or been able to think beyond little worlds into the sphere of global power. Without even an elementary grasp of the science of war, diplomacy, or the good sense to delve into the realms of power what chance does the world at large have to live peaceably? 9/11 came and went, and Americans aren’t even close to grasping the relationship of race, economics, and war any better than in the 1980’s when President Reagan was trying to push the country into war with Central American countries for reasons based upon race, economics, and acquisition.
Sarah Palin is the latest in a long line of people who mirror what needs to heal. Are we able to ascend to the level of maturity, and the depth of knowledge to take our truth upon the Red Road and become a global leader? I am Gregory E. Woods, Dawn Wolf, Keeper of Stories, and these are my words. AHO!
