The purity of a woman is different from the purity of white women as we, people of color, are told to revere and accept as a truth and a standard. If there is purity within the concept and the being, and the essence of women the necessity of placing white women's beauty and social seat above others defeats the purpose of equality, and denounces the notion of sacredness to the feminine. - Gregory E.
