God Didn't Create You To Be A Pushover
Dr. Sinclair Grey III
In this life, I've discovered that too many people have allowed the enemy to control every aspect of their life. From poor choices to unhealthy addictions, the enemy has infiltrated the mind of many and caused them to forget who they are and whose they are. Let me be straight up with you. The enemy will try to distract you but he's already defeated. Since we're talking about the enemy already being defeated, do me a favor and send him back to 'hell.' Your life is about to change for the better and you must understand that your faith in God partnered with your belief in His Word and willingness to do what it says, will cause you to do things in a whole new way.
God has given you power on the inside to control anything and everything that comes against you. In a real sense, when God created humans, He gave them power and dominion over the earth. Let me say it this way. The enemy has no power over you unless you give it to him. May I ask you a few questions? Who woke you up this morning? Who continually blesses you? Who's always delivering you from trials and tribulations? That's right; it's God. You were never designed to live in a defeated state. I want you to get into your spirit that the enemy was defeated, is defeated, and will forever be defeated. Because you're a child of God, you have power over the enemy and his demonic forces.
In writing to the people of Rome, the apostle Paul said, "For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace." Please don't miss this. Sin is what the enemy uses to keep you separated from God. However, the good news is that God is able to forgive you of your sins and restore you in right relationship with Him. In addition to this, God has given you the ability to overcome temptation and sin through His Spirit. You have something in you that the enemy will never have. It's the power of God working in you and through you. With that said, you need to know you have dominion and power. (August 14, 2013)
