Older White Woman came. . .

An older Southern woman came into town to purchase land from under Ol' Man Croker some years ago.  Never knew much about her 'cept dat she was a kin to some old preacher no one remembered who was younger than 30 or 40 years old to her. In du' wake of her leaving town a few the middle aged men were, how you say, Enlightened?  The women folk were none too kind towards her. Afraid she waken up the dead with her suggestions.

Them church folk was sumpin'.  They preached against sinning, but gave no one an outlet. That wayward, but sexy Southern woman sure lit a lot of fires around town with her look. The look in her eye. Don't know what it was. Couldn't identify it, but it either frighten old wives, or aroused teenage boys, clued young women on something, or caused some of the men folks to plot and scheme with the thought of appearing to her liking!
