HOPELESS
“Many have no hope because they are geared to accept any
proclamation. How can anyone be of help to them? There are those who have come
to the end of a road and series of hazards, and their spirit has succumbed to
defeat. How can anyone be of help to them?
Isn't our lot in life to
feed the spirits and the bodies of people in their deepest needs when we have
it within us to do such a thing? In a country with so much access to wealth and
food, and an atmosphere ripe with creativity the giving up of hope means
something different from someone from a country without the amenities of this
country.
Hopeless
is one thing in a wealthy country, and another in a poor, or poorer country.
Perhaps the disturbance in the United States is a matter of the soul, and soul
loss.” © Gregory E. Woods
