"Name a rapper you would like to see in jail next year!" The question came up on Facebook apparently asked by one of the moderators of WhoRyde.com: Hip Hop & Models. It solicited many irate responses. Predictable, but I was intrigued, and responded thus:
The question is right on time. It is probing and it hit a nerve because the author of the question knows the business of entertainment, reality shows and gossip salivate for the next demise of a career, end of life, and the incarceration of a famous person. His question is telling the truth, and asking for the truth. The general public loves those things. There is depth to this question. The question is probing into belief systems. There are industries and you should know this whose income centers around this question. Gossip magazines, photographers, news services, the music industry. Need I go on?
