Reverence.

Women pose, I imagine, for a variety of reasons that may or may not be out of vanity. In front of professional photographers it may be for an opportunity to trust an artist to see within her who she doesn't see on a regular basis reflected in her relationships with others! Maybe. It may be for the simple pleasure of expression and nothing more! The reasons matter, but the outcome and how it was achieved can become works of art in the perception of self. If others admire it; it is good, but how one sees themselves evokes the most thought! - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories Sept. 6, 2017

Cloth to the Human Spirit.

Arazel's fierce beauty by Craig Matthews (2014)

"Excellent fashion photography is similar to appreciated divinity and the way it intermingles with the playful and serious elements of life. Even though it is fashion, fashion is expression of the human spirit and how clothes dance around what traditionally is the temple of spirit and soul! Some refute the comparisons but their reactions to fashion, if one pays attention to the details of words, contradicts their assessments.

This photographer is that good, Ariadne. I wish you would credit him/her and the others."

Test Strength & Integrity

There is a tax on the soul taking, or giving into the temptation that vexes your spirit, and enchants every other sense of indecency.  The apostle Paul addressed this issue saying "..For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.." The words he wrote before that to the church in Rome at the time, "...For that which I do I allow not: for what I would do I do not; but what I hate, that do I. If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. Now then it is no more I do it, but sin that dwells in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwells no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good, I find not." speaks directly to a real and perpetual dilemma felt by us all. It may sound like a rolling down the hill play with words, but the rhythm of the speech talks to the complexity of our emotions and touches the tenuous line between what we know to do, and yearn to do against what is best for us.

Paul was talking about that internal struggle that looks slightly familiar, yet is different because we are all different from each other's base elements, core values, and needs. We are structured to perform certain tasks in each lifetime, and some are only designed to live and perform in one lifetime of physical manifestation. Others, like myself, need to work during the lifetimes to evolve, and change in spite of how painful it sometimes is painful to the mind, the body (when lust is involved), or the spirit-of-who-you-are when integrity and trust are challenged.

He wants her

Ken Karnes wrote to Catalina Otalvara, "Any time i see you it amazes me how beautiful you are . The long distance that you are away from me doesn't stop me from wanting to me from wanting you, to look into your beautiful eyes as my hands touches each beautiful part of your beautiful body.i want to kiss you ,i want to taste the sweetness of you, i want to fill my mouth with your beautiful breast, i want to kiss my way to your sweet vigina as you wrap your long beautiful legs around my neck pulling my tongue deep iin you tasting the sweetness of you , i move on top of you putting me inside you slowly moving feeling your warmth as you climax , having you fall asleep in my armes, you are such a beautiful dream lover!" in late December of 2015. She dug it. What are things women like to hear? If it is based on truth and is honest that is a beginning to understand what to say. - Dawn Wolf, Keeper of Stories (2.5.16)

Celibacy after Sex

Genevieve Nnaji has been celibate for 10 years

Genevieve Nnaji vacationing in Las Vegas on a yacht

In 2013 a Nigerian actress, Genevieve Nnaji, I know nothing about came to my attention with a blazing headline proclaiming she had been celibate for 10 years! On the surface and beneath celibacy is not easy, and not always intentional. Without probing her reasons let's enter the landscape celibacy comes from to understand how it is capable of gripping the sex drive into a hesitant standstill. It really doesn't stand still. It shimmers concentrating on itself, and feeding the holes, the vortexes, and the body with energies strong enough to replace easy access to one's body with road blocks. In time no sex leads to celibacy and at some point celibacy becomes an act of power. Beyond that this action has created a force the gifted ones trained in spiritual sciences instinctively know how to employ, and sanction for the greater good of the best of us, and others when our spheres of influence widens.

At some point she transitioned beyond the discipline celibacy develops into a realm of possibility and dynamic plays with power. The only thing she said about the end of her act of power was simple, but important to note. - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 2.16.15

”I have been single for so long, it hasn’t been easy, even when dbanj came along with his thing that wasn’t long he kept saying NO LONG THING..NO LONG THING.. never [knew] that was he meant it till i saw it, it was even shorter than his harmonica… We couldn’t settle down. "Luckily for me, I have found a man now to spend the rest of my life with.”

PRACTICE SEVENTEEN: restraint

Playboy Babes

Stephanie Santiago posing for Playboy Babes
December 8, 2013
the 8th wonder is within looking at the scope of what one is able to discover, able to explore and capable of playing with if it is dangerous, or not to the soul. Temptation is often in the form of women, who will be condemned if the skill to resist the forbidden does not help the man get away safely. We create roles for each other, and for ourselves as havens to imagine we can go there and not be faced with the enormity of our desires, and the fires of the flesh. It is very difficult being a principled man. Your principles are attractive, and the flesh needs to eat and consume what can drive it towards heights the imaginations and visions say you can ascend to, and pussy and being held so easily places one beyond his circumstances and the state of his affairs.

Words have always been allies. So, one cannot look down upon the poor soul who is reciting holy scriptures, whose brow is beaded with sweat and he is threatening to cave into the seduction of She who invites him in. Many do, and would laugh at so desperate a measure ignoring the fact and power of words, and their capabilities to build and design our circumstances. We can create the impossible scenario, and create a positive exit plan with strategies that won't stir degrading feelings within the woman we know we cannot and should not bed. Seduction begins where it appears it did not come from. Seduction moves two directions in the same moment, and seduction comes from beyond where we speak from and into existence. Seduction doesn't simply come at the sight of a woman's bottom swallowing a white thong. It comes from desires, and needs to feel powerful.

Body Tells Stories

"Here a woman's body tells a story of abandonment to the moment, of freedom. But, is it her story, her reality? Any of us admiring the photography can surmise any number of things, but do we know what freedom is or what freedom looks like as attire?" - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories 8.18.15

older woman - Monique Fuentes

"Did God give us the breath of life to place it under death's feet? Did He give us liberty to make it a shadow for slavery? He who extinguishes his spirits's fire with his won hands is an infidel in the eyes of Heaven, for Heaven set the fire that burns in our spirits. He who does not rebel against oppression is doing himself injustice." ~ Kahlil Gibran

Selfie vs Self-Portrait

May 5 · Edited ·

Bolivian model, Gaylecita Dulce (2015)

Self reflection is the expansion of the concept of self. That alone makes for a great selfie, which in itself a 'selfie' is an expression of self absorption. Maturity reflects. Immaturity stagnates. On the occasion one finds a self portrait the sharp mind knows self reflection occurred because self reflection mirrors into the deeper souls. Thus, a 'selfie' like this one to remember and ponder.

Nice. A great picture of yourself, Ms. Gaylecita Dulce! - Dawn Wolf, Keeper of Stories 7.3.15
