Sympatico

Sympatico means congenial, diplomatic, mannerly..nice. It has nothing directly to do with seeing things the other person's way, or accepting the other person's premises about something, but rather means handling the matter gently. You can put yourself in another's shoes, and as a result appear simpatico  You can totally reject the other person's views and premises and still appear simpatico simply by being nice. You can also become simpatico in so many circumstances that you keep getting robbed and used, like the way the parasitic New Zealand government rob and berate the taxpaying citizens, that you get tired of being simpatico toward total ingrates and take a stand for yourself...

I like to think of Tohunga Makutu in this way..

(Simpatico spelt with an 'i' is a Spanish word = false friend) - Jacqui Brown
