This is one of those dramatic moments in someone's live that is meant to be a poignant moment for one person (her husband) to discern the meaning and feel its impact ripple through his consciousness, and mind for years to come. Outside of that intimate dialogue we can only be onlookers, or sink low and be gossips. If we are onlookers the best thing we could do is 'dream' their reconcilation.
