Healing the soul of the South
"I attract rednecks. I want to hear their stories, and be open enough to interject a word into the paradigm that holds their structure of belief together. I would have been interested in meeting her. The south was never allowed to heal from the Civil War. This fact alone has haunted this country ever since. It came to a point, a climax; that pain when the Supreme Court selected Bush to the office of President. History has a long arm, and Americans have short attention spans, and constantly looking for the next new things leaves us restless and unwilling to deal with the truth of our history." ~ Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories
