Here is a well thought out short-to-the-point approach to relationships that was obviously lived by the author. It isn't harsh; doesn't condemn. It leaves the pressure of responding right or not at all squarely on the reader. More often than not people in confrontational relationships stay there. Curiosity lets them peep into possible solutions others present, but for the most part patterns they won't or can't break are like an old comfortable bedtime story. They are loyal to them.
This piece sounds different because it comes from the gentle place a wise woman achieves by the force of intention to be one's self. So, knowing a lot of Christians read these things, and a lot of ghetto citizens look for ways out, and a plenty a well educated folk like to address their issues there is a point the author, Kimberly Hudson made that may not be clear.
