"The women's march needed the men. We spoke by our presence to what women in protests feel and fear in a way their presence cannot to forces surrounding them not accustomed to seeing protesting women vulnerable the way they conjure the 'She', the womb essence by the written and spoken word. This was a venture into the ancient practices white women historically have been killed for having and evoking. So, amongst the men there were the strong men, the silent men deadly of purpose ready to defend where women were defenseless and vulnerable men were not. A lot transpired today. I saw it. I was one of the strong men!" - Gregory E. Woods, Keeper of Stories Jan. 22, 2017
